"What the hell do you want?!" You shout and stomp your feet against the floor as you get off the bed.

Jungkook was taken aback by your shout as it was so unexpected and unnecessary. "Don't shout, I can hear you," he rolls his eyes, tilting his head to trap the phone between his ear and shoulder because he required both hands free to knot his tie. He was preparing to go to work. "So um...I heard you got a boyfriend huh?" His tone was solemn, so solemn that you could detect jealousy in it.

You come to a halt for a few moments, stunned and unable to answer. Your heart ached a little when he said that. Were you ever over him to begin with? You question yourself once more as you take a seat in the bed. You sigh quietly as you close your eyes and bite your bottom lip while running your fingers through your unruly hair. "Yeah...I did." You respond.

Jungkook wasn't responding. He too, like you, stood quiet and didn't react or respond for a moment. He just blankly stared at himself in the mirror after he fixed his tie. "You forgot about me already?" he finally spoke out, but his voice was subdued and you could tell he was in pain, which perturbed you. He was upset, and even though you couldn't see him, you could tell by his voice that tears were welling up in his eyes, which they actually were so he bit his lip to avoid them from falling. "Those two and a half years meant nothing to you?"

"Forget about it, Jungkook," you shake your head trying not to feel bad because it never ends up well for you. "It's pointless..." You whisper.

"I know who your boyfriend is." Jungkook chuckles and redirects the emphasis of the conversation. You immediately knew he was acting like he was okay when he wasn't. He used to do this all the time when you were dating.

"Look Jungkook, I never meant to hurt you. Don't act like you're okay when you're not." You murmured softly during the call, wanting to make sure he understood that your objectives were never to harm anyone, but rather to reclaim your freedom, which had been taken away from you.

"No, I'm serious. I know him." Smirking, he dashes down the stairs, grabs his car keys from the key holder behind his mansion's exit door, and speeds out.

"What?! Have you been stalking me?!" You worriedly screamed, afraid he'd hurt Taehyung since he's so obsessed with getting you back that he'll go to any length to do it. "You better not hurt him!" You warn with a threatening tone.

Jungkook laughed, "depends," he says, still laughing as he sits in his car.

"What-t do you mean-n??" You stuttered, worried for Taehyung's safety.

"Bye, I'm going to work." He ignored your question and ended the call.

"Hello! Hello?? Wait!" You jump out of bed and nervously stroll around the room, but he had already ended the call, so you grumble and throw the phone in your bed. Then you start overthinking things. What if Jungkook kidnaps Taehyung and injures him, then threatens to end your relationship? What if...what if they BOTH KILL EACH OTHER?! You screamed in your head and then gasped loudly, appearing a bit weird if someone were to see you right now.

"Should I call him?" You muttered to yourself, nervously chewing your nails. "No, no. He's probably at work right now." You realize you might bother him while he's at work, so you'll FaceTime him when he returns home tonight.

***

It was around ten-thirty in the evening, and you were sitting in your bed with your legs crossed over each other and your laptop on your lap, barely above your thighs. You were about to FaceTime Taehyung to tell him you'd be returning to Seoul tomorrow after a three-month vacation and to inquire, in a less suspicious manner, if he'd been stalked or threatened recently. So, just as you were about to hit the call button, you got a call from Taehyung before you even had a chance to call him.
