Jungkook struggled to accept it. He wasn't responding; rather, he was just standing there, stunned that you had said yes. You say yes to a completely different man after everything he's done for you. He offered you the world, making sure he wouldn't make the same mistakes twice to make you hate him, but you chose to overlook it all and move on?

He blinked back the tears and kept his chin high. He shook his head, tears falling like rain when his heart flipped a switch of agony at losing the only person he has ever genuinely loved with total lunacy.

He stared at you and Taehyung for a minute before taking off at a run, sobbing as he ran, leaving you and Taehyung there happy while he struggled to find his lost smile.

He stepped out onto the sidewalk while straining to breathe through a constricted throat. He fled, refusing to acknowledge that you were now someone else's fiancée.

As he ran with his head down, his eyes stung, clouding with tears despite his best efforts to stop it they just kept pouring. "No, no! She can't do this!" His fingers slowly went numb where they clenched around his phone so his phone slipped off on the street falling to the ground as he ran over a green light and into the path of an oncoming car.

He couldn't see since he was so overtaken with emotion and the car was driving fast. The car tried to slow down as Jungkook raced in front of it, crying. A loud screeching sound could be heard, leading witnesses to believe it was an accident. However, Jimin arrived and pushed Jungkook off to the sidewalk, causing him to roll on the ground and bleed from the forehead.

Jungkook furrowed his brows and lifted off the ground wiping his forehead free of blood feeling a little dizzy but was too depressed to realize he nearly died.

"Are you fucking crazy?! You could've died!" Jimin shouted, shaking Jungkook violently. "She's not worth your death!"

Jungkook sobbed, his head spinning and his eyes squinted.

"Jimin-n I did everything-g...everything for her but she said yes to him, she said yes-s." He stuttered as his sobs interrupted every word that came out his mouth.

"Then why didn't you stop them?!" Jimin pushed at Jungkook chest slightly.

"Because I didn't wanna hurt her! I don't want her to hate me further, she already hates me so much, she thinks I'm a monster!" He kept shouting, not being aware of the public surrounding him. "And what did I do wrong huh?! I only ever loved her! I loved her against reason, against promise, against peace, against hope, against happiness, against all discouragement that could be!"

"So what you're gonna kill yourself? You're bleeding!"

"What's there left to live for?" He shouted through his tears. He paused panting as his chest began to feel heavy and felt a lack of oxygen. "She is more than just a human, Jimin. She is anything that no one had ever seen and everything that anyone had ever desired," he sniffed, his eyes red and puffy. "She is everything, everything to me, a beautiful soul, I don't know what she is. I was- I was immediately sucked into a depth of love." He was sobbing into his hands, unable to find the words to speak of his grief.

"You're bleeding, come on, let's go to the hospital." Jimin attempted to drag Jungkook but he yanked his arms out of his grip.

"I'm not fucking going anywhere!" He sternly wiped his tears with his arms as his tie flew free and blood dripped from his forehead all over his blue blazer.

"Jungkook, wait man!" Jimin ran after him but Jungkook was faster.

He sprinted to his car and accelerated past the speed limit, but the police took no action. He simply buys their silence with bribery.
