"By doing that, peace will be restored. I'll use your blood to heal me." Belos circles the chair, a smirk on his face. "Of course, I couldn't let you die without saying good-bye, could I?"
He draws yet another spell circle with his finger and Luz finds herself in her own choking body.
"Luz, are you okay? Hurry, we have to get out of here," Amity kneels down beside her, her hands lifting her back up, but Luz pushes them away.
"Amity- Go. Belos is pretending to be... me," Luz says each time she gasps for air. "Luz, I-" Amity reaches back down, towards Luz, but she scoots away.
"Go, Amity! Now, before he captures you! Get out of here!" Amity hugs Luz and pulls away almost immediately, ending the hug as soon as they touched.
"Take care of Otto for me, alright?" Luz smiles.
"Take care of everyone while I'm gone."
She probably wouldn't see her again. Or anyone, for that matter.
But at least Amity was the last thing she did see.
With that, Luz feels Emperor Belos finally gain control of her.
