We heard a commotion on the back and we glanced at them.

We all walked closer to them and I looked closer at what it was.

I saw Garrison soldiers down the wall and looked at the three people going up.

"There's no hole anywhere!" Hannes said.

"Hannes-san..." I muttered.

Jan suddenly appeared next to him with Mitabi and my eyes widened.

"They're here too?"

"He's right. We spent all night searching, but..." Jan trailed off and I offered a hand for him to grab.

"We couldn't find a breach in the wall anywhere between Trost and Krolva." Mitabi continued for him as someone helped him up.

"What was that?" Hange asked.

"We ran into each other, then to another squad from Krolva and then doubled back." Hannes said and looked at Jan and Mitabi, who nodded at his words.

"We didn't come across a single Titan the whole day there and back." Jan said.

"But it's a fact that Titans appeared on this side of the wall." Armin spoke up.

"Were you really looking? Or did you have a few too many drinks beforehand?" Eren said and I grabbed his hand.

"Eren, he looks serious. And he doesn't smell like booze." I said to Hannes.

"I didn't drink anything! Listen to (Y/n)- wait... Hang on, what are you guys doing here, anyway?" Hannes questioned.

We didn't answer as the wind perked up.

"If there's no hole in the wall, so be it. We're retreating back to Trost for now." Hange announced and soldiers started to walk away to prepare.

The four of us stayed and Hannes walked closer to us.

"Whatever you do, don't let your guard down." Hannes told us and faced his back on us.

"We're going back ahead of you." Hannes said and jumped down the wall, he used his gear to safely land on the ground.

"Take care kid." Jan said, patting my head.

Jan and Milieus jumped down and followed Hannes down the wall and I watched them with furrowed brows.

"Yeah..." I muttered.

"There's no breach in the wall?" Eren muttered.

"What does this mean? Why is all this happening now, after five years of nothing? The world keeps getting more and more confusing." I heard Armin mutter and walked away, Mikasa and Sasha followed him.

I tugged on Eren's sleeve and looked at him.

"Let's go." I said and started to drag him as he followed.

"(Y/n). Eren."

I closed my eyes and silently sighed then stopped, I side-glance at them with a raised brow.

"You two got a minute? We need to talk." Reiner said.

I looked at Armin and we made eye contact when he noticed we weren't following them.
