"Hey, (N/n). What took you so long?" Eren asked and I looked at him.

I got inside our shared room and I sat next to him on the bed.

"Just had a small talk with Historia." I said and laid down.

"She's been quiet since we got here, huh. I didn't even see her smile once." Eren said.

"I managed to let out a small smile earlier, she just needed some comfort and time for herself." I said and covered my eyes with my arms.

"What happened in the experiment by the way? Hange-san said you'll fill me up." I said and let out a small sigh.

"Ah, right." Eren muttered and I felt him lay down next to me.

"Well, I can't do hardening but you can." Eren said and I removed my arm to look at him.

"I can?" I asked and he nodded.

"But your head starts to hurt every time you do. That's what Hange-san said." Eren said.

"Oh." I muttered.

"Then, you told Hange-san that you have telepathy when we were building the shelter." Eren said.

"Do you remember anything from that?" I asked and he shook his head.

"On our fusion, it was the same with the hardening. Hange-san said that our Titan got smaller and skinnier, we also lost our consciousness." Eren finished.

"Then we can't seal the hole in Wall Maria. For now, that is." I said and turned to him.

"We just have to work harder and believe in ourselves." I said and let out a small smile at him.

Eren opened his mouth but I cut him off.

"You're not a burden, Eren, alright? You'll find how to harden sooner, and so do I." I said and he widened his eyes.

"How do you know what I was thinking?" Eren asked, shocked and I laughed.

"I can read your mind~" I said and waved my fingers at him.

"No way." Eren scoffs and nudges my shoulder.

I just let out a chuckle and stared at the ceiling.

"We should sleep now." I said and glanced at him.

"Alright... Goodnight, (N/n)." Eren said and he closed his eyes.

"Night..." I muttered and sighed.

I closed my eyes and slowly fell asleep.

I slowly opened my eyes and stared at the ceiling before rubbing them. I groaned when I sat up.

"No dream... that's a surprise..." I muttered and looked at the window. It's evening and I widened my eyes.

"What the fuck!?" I scrambled out of my bed, causing me to fall down.

"Ack!-" I sighed in annoyance and laid on my stomach.

"You good?" I heard Eren's voice and glanced up at him, he was wiping his hair dry.
