“What did you get?” Spruce sat down and throw an envelope at his desk.

Kinuha nya ito at tinigan ang loob. Inside the envelope are the papers of missing people. “They are the Soul Residents who have been confirmed missing. Most of them are women around 18 and  above. Nakakuha kami ng impormasyon na lahat ng kababaihan na ito ay dinadala sa isang bidding auction. Ang iba ay pinagbibili sa black market. Napag-alaman ko rin na karamihan sa mga umatake sa norte ay galing dito. If we could trace those scumbags we can easily connect the dots and find that specific parasite.”

It wasn't new to him to hear this information. This underground business was circulating here long decades ago. Soul Residents are the citizens living here. Marami syang natatanggap na report noon tungkol sa pagkawala ng mga residente na ito. Lost souls are also been held captive to sell to the Noble citizen. They are the wealthiest Soul residents living in this world.

“Get information from the captives from this illegal business.”

“Why don't we take down the place first and them freed the captives and squeeze information?”

“No. It will only attract attention. We need to avoid casualties. Once we find the real culprit we can stop their illegal business from running.”

“Got it.”

Bigla nalang may panang mabilis na lumipad sa direksyon nya. Bago pa ito dumapo sa dibdib ng binata ay agad niya itong nakuha ng isang kamay lang.

He scanned the arrow. A dragon crest was embarked on its thick stick. Gamit ang kamay ay pinutol nya ito sa gitna. “That old man was here.”

Spruce smirked. “He knows how to greet you.”

Madali namang may sumagi sakaniyang isip. “Fvck! Fvck! Fvck!” ilang beses siyang napamura at agad na tumayo.

“Where are you going?”

He took his coat at the back of his chair and wear it. “Carquirelle. Where is she?”

“Uhm.. I saw her at the garden. Why?”

Hindi niya na ito tinapunan ng pansin at saka tumakbo palabas ng opisina.

NAKAUPO siya sa ilalim ng puno habang may hawak na dog food sakanyang kamay. “Ok...now sit.”

Little Fire jolly obeyed her while wagging his tail.  “Good boy.” saka nya ito pinakain ng piraso ng dog food.

“Roll over.” she commanded.

Little Fire roll over the green grass and immediately got a prize. “So smart.” she petted.

Binuhat nya ito at itinaas sa ere. “Hindi ka lang cute matalino ka rin. Ang bilis mong turuan. Isang oras pa lang na gets mo na agad ang mga tinuro ko.”

Binaba niya na si Little Fire at saka naman ito tumakbo. He found a wooden stick and grab it at his mouth. Lumapit naman sakaniya ito. “You want to fetch it?”

He barked.

“Okay. Fetch!” binato nya ito ng malakas at saka naman ito hinabol ng tuta.

Medyo napalayo ang kaniyang bato kaya lumipad ito sa likod ng mataas na damo. Pumasok ang tuta sa loob nito para kunin ang kahoy. Pagkatapos ng ilang minuto bigla siyang nag-alala nang hindi pa bumabalik si Little Fire.

Tumakbo sya sa kinaroroonan kung saan lumipad ang kahoy upang hanapin si Little Fire.

"Little Fire!” she called.
