CHAPTER 25: BETRAYAL

Ten years ago.

Heath was on his 120th year in underworld where in human world he was 20 year old young man studying as a college student. His pursuing a course that was related to medicine. Nagbabalak siyang maging doktor balang araw. Ngunit alam nyang mahihirapan siyang pagsabayin ito at ang pamamalakad sa kaharian nila.

Ngayon pa nga lang na habang nag-aaral siya sa ibabaw ng mundo ay kasabay din nito ang pamumuno nya bilang hari sakanilang mundo.

In the midst of the night, the streets are in complete silence. Alone in emptiness. Wearing a blank face, Heath keep his pace toward the man he was chasing.

Poor him he ran at the wrong alley. The man was shivering and struggling to find a spot of his escape. But he find nothing but despair.

Heath finally cornered him.

"L-Lumayo ka sakin!" he screamed.

"Your time is up."

Sumiksik pa ito sa pader sa likod nya kahit wala ng space para makalayo sya sa mga kamay ng binata.

"Tulong! Tulungan nyo ako!" muli siyang sumigaw ng tulong.

Heath laugh menacingly. "There's no one here father. Just submit yourself and get over this."

Nanginginig niyang kinapa ang bawat bulsa nito. Dagsa ng butil ng pawis ang pumapatak sakanyang mukha. Mabilis ang tahip ng kaniyang puso habang hinahanap ang bagay sakaniyang bulsa.

He was relieved to find the thing inside his pocket. Tinaas niya ito at hinarap sakaniya. "Umaalis kang demonyo ka! Layas!"

Holding a necklace of rosary, he used it to defend himself and try to brush him away. Lalong natawa si Heath sa ginawa ng lalaking ito.

Where the hell did he get that idea? That's bullsh!t.

"Your toy doesn't affect me father. You can even get a crucifix or any holy objects related to your god. But it will never enough to keep me away."

Lumaki ang kaniyang mga mata. Nabitawan nya ang rosaryo at paluhod na bumagsak sa sementong daan.

When Heath finally was near distance to him, Heath bend his knee to face him. "To fill the space in your knowledge, your god wouldn't come down to save you. Why? Because you left him first."

"You betrayed him...father." he drew a smirked emphasizing the last word.

Mariin naman itong umiling. Nagsimulang bumuhos ang luha nito sakanyang mga mata.

"Nagkakamali ka! God is forgiving. He will forgive me! Kaya wala kang karapatan na kunin ang buhay ko!"

"You are an abusive priest. You're no difference with others i've met." kinuha nya ang leeg nito at itinaas sa ere. "You should know by now that it's important to practice what you preach father."

Hinigpitan nito ang pagkakahawak nya sa leeg. Sinubukan nitong pumiglas at pilit na tinanggal ang kamay ng binata. He's breathing hard, strangling to death.
