I raised an eyebrow expectantly "and that is?" I asked when she doesn't elaborate.
"Isn't Edward my mate? If he is why does he act like that?" she asked with her head tilted to the side slightly in confusion.
I looked at her with confused sympathy "Why do you think he's your mate?"
Bella shook her head "Edward said we were mates, but everything you've said goes against that, so what are we?" she asked, a desperate note in her voice. What an asshole...
"Honey, if he was your true mate you would know it, it wouldn't be a question. He might be your mate but those aren't that rare. You two don't exactly act like it... but maybe, a regular mate bond just means compatibility. More than likely you're just in a teenage romance, those feel all fated and shit until he cheats on you with your best friend, then it turns bad real quick and you jump to the next whirlwind drama" I explained nonchalantly with a small shrug. Fucking Chad....Chad's are always such pricks...You know what? That one was on me, I dated a Chad, what did I expect to happen?...
Bella stared at me with dawning realization and slight horror in her eyes.
She must have actually thought they were mates and it was some fated match. Maybe it was, I did come from a universe that romanticized their toxic-ass relationship so what did I know?
I sighed remorsefully "Bella, if you want to make it work with him, then make it work but don't go in with blinders on. You have an eternity to think about now. Give it some time. See if you want to be with him, it's not the end of the world if it doesn't work out" I explained gently.
When I saw her relax I smiled and gave her a suggestive look "Don't forget about my offer, I got the hook up now. You get the pick of the litter" I said with a sultry smirk as I raised my eyebrows at her.
She suddenly turned bright red and threw a pillow at me making me laugh loudly.
I was gonna miss this.

The next day Charlie insisted on driving me to the airstrip.
I indulged him because I was gonna miss him, he really is an awesome guy. I'm kinda disappointed I couldn't spend more time with him.
Bella couldn't make it with school but I didn't mind since I knew soon enough I wouldn't be able to get enough of her. I have many plans to get her to the Volturi, if not with them then at least not with the damn Bunny eaters, well Edward and Alice, the rest are okay.
I gave Charlie directions as we got closer to the airstrip.
When I told him to make a right he looked at me doubtfully "The airport is still 20 minutes away" he said as we approached the turn.

I smirked "We aren't going to the airport, turn here" I said mischievously.
I could tell he was about to ask where we were going when he saw the small airstrip with the Volturi jet sitting on it.
He just stared and blinked before turning to me in alarm "I thought that was a joke! Don't sleep with your bosses!" Charlie said desperately with wide eyes.
I burst into laughter as I clutched my stomach. I'm gonna piss my pants! If only he fucking knew! HAHAHAhahahahaha I'm gonna die!
Charlie just shook his head as he watched me die of laughter as he pulled up slowly to the plane.
I was still laughing lightly as I got out of the car and grabbed the cat carriers from the backseat.
Immediately Demetri was walking up beside me and taking Rosco's carrier "Let me get that Ma'am" He said respectfully as he grabbed the cat and one of my last bags while I held Moe's carrier.
I smiled gratefully at him "Thank you Demitri" I said lightly as I closed the car door.
Charlie had gotten out of the car and was looking at the jet in shock and slight horror. This man is grade A entertainment...
I just shook my head good-naturedly and gave him a half hug.
That seemed to snap him out of it as he hugged me back before pulling away awkwardly.
I just snorted and smiled "See you in a few months, I'll call you all the time, if just to drive you crazy" I said fondly as I gave him one last smile.
He nodded and gave me back a half-smile "Uh, well be safe. I'm gonna miss you kid" he said awkwardly before nodding once and getting back in his cruiser.
"I'll miss you too" I said quietly before turning around and walking up the stairs into the jet.
I took one last glance at his cruiser before walking into the plane.
I smiled brightly as my eyes met Caius's, he was giving me a gentle smile and motioned for me to join him.
I put down Moe's carrier next to Rosco's before joining him.
He grabbed my hand in his before bringing it up to his lips with a concerned look in his eyes.
I smiled sadly at the gesture but nodded "I'm okay, It won't be forever" I whispered reassuringly.
He nodded and let go of my hand to put his arm around me in silent support, it was exactly what I needed at that moment.
I might be leaving something behind but I'm going towards something so much brighter.

Okay, because a bunch of u were hoping for a blood singer reveal I will say, I have a plan for that. that's why it wasn't there, also currently Lia isn't sure what Bella is, She thinks she might be his blood singer but isn't going to confirm without talking to Marcus.
You guys won't have to wait too long, you know I don't have any patience either lol.
