Marcus smirked, amused "The true mate bond between this newborn and Josh" he said as he looked pointedly behind me towards Josh.

I turned around and smiled brightly at Josh who was staring at Marcus completely dumbstruck.

Josh looked at me panicked "What do I do?" He mouthed to me as he looked between me and the Newborns.

I rolled my eyes and grabbed his arm before pushing him towards the Newborn "Go say hi" I whispered as I shoved him.

He stumbled out in front of us only to look up and meet the eyes of his true mate.

I watched giddily as him and his mate walked towards each other in a trance the second they were in touching distance the Newborn launched himself at Josh with a beaming smile on his face.

I clapped excitedly and shared a look with Annabeth and Tatyana. They're fucking adorable, I ship it!

"Well now that that's settled I have an appointment to get to, Josh go spend some time with your mate. Bree, Fred, welcome to the Volturi, hopefully, it can be permanent but if at the end of your newborn phase you decided to leave we will respect your decision" I said with a kind smile as I watched Josh and his mate get all cuddly. They are so fucking cute!

Once they were all gone I gave a kiss to each of my mates before leaving to go see my cousin.

When I pulled up to the house I saw Bella about to leave.

She stopped walking when she saw the car pull up and was waiting beside her truck.

Once the car was parked I got out and closed the door. Janice and Annabeth flanking me.

Bella glanced at them both but didn't comment "what are you doing here?" she asked as she looked from the car to me.

I rolled my eyes "I'm here to fill you in. I did say when it was done I would tell you what's going on. What are you doing?" I said with a sarcastic smirk on my face.

She rolled her eyes with a small smile before turning serious "I'm going to the Cullen's" was all she said as she looked at her truck nervously.

I raised an eyebrow "Why are you going over there? I thought you were gonna break up with Edwierdo?" I asked as I rolled my eyes.

Bella gave me a pointed look "That's why I'm going there. I need to break it off, officially. It's been a long time coming" She said, getting quieter as she spoke. Seriously?! She's actually pulling the plug? Oh, I gotta see this!

I smiled excitedly "Can I come? I would love to watch as you crush his soul!" I asked giddily. This shit will be prime entertainment! I was expecting her to write a letter or some shit!

She rolled her eyes "No, you are not going to go and watch my break up like some bad movie" Bella said, very unimpressed.

I pouted "Please? I can even call the kings! We have some business we need to talk about with the Cullen's. Once we're done you can drag pretty boy away and crush his soul" I said with puppy dog eyes.

She looked like she was considering it before she shook her head "No, I have to do this myself, the Cullen's will be there if I need any backup, they wouldn't let Edward hurt me. I would like to think he wouldn't do anything but he acts weird whenever I pull away lately. Every time I try and get some distance he holds on tighter, get's even more controlling. It got so bad I finally broke" She said as she scowled down at the ground.

I crossed my arms and looked at her seriously "What made you pull the plug? You've put up with his shit for a while, he had to have done something?" I asked as I looked at her expectantly. Do I need to kill him? Well, I'm killing him no matter what but how painful does this gotta be?

She scoffed and rolled her eyes "He told Jake we were getting married, right before the fight. He lied to him just to get in his head, I saw him smirk after, he was proud of himself. It was like he thought Jake was the thing holding me back from saying yes. That was all him" She grumbled out as she crossed her arms.

I have no idea why canon Bella was just okay with that. He basically tried to get into Jacob's head right before a deadly battle. Just, what the fuck?

"Well, I'm just glad you finally came back to the light. I was planning a damn intervention if you were still with him. You really don't wanna be stuck with a teenage vampire eternally in a mood swing. I wouldn't wish that fate on my worst enemy!" I said dramatically.

She rolled her eyes but I could see a small smile growing on Bella's face.

In the End, I stayed at the house and waited for Charlie to get home while Bella went off alone to deal with her boy toy. Well, not alone, Afton was still with her which made me feel a bit better.

Bella was right, I don't think the Cullens would let Edward do anything stupid. They may not be the smartest coven on the planet but they aren't that stupid.

I was upset to miss the drama but I was sure there would be more to come. Dickward is nothing if not dramatic.

Charlie came home about 15 minutes after Bella left.

We just hung out and watched the game while I waited for Bella to get back and tell me how it went.

Charlie asked about my job, I made up some shit. Probably not doing too well since it started to feel a bit more like an interrogation than a conversation.

"What exactly does your company do?" Charlie asked as he narrowed his eyes slightly.

I stiffened but it wasn't because of him, something was off. I could feel the energy in the room turn dangerous.

I looked around nervously and stood up, I did not like the vibes I was getting.

I turned and looked out the window but didn't see anything.

I heard Charlie grunt from behind me, I immediately stiffened and whipped around. Oh fuck...

Standing in the living room, holding up Charlie by the neck was Edward fucking Cullen.

So yes, that is me wanting Aiden and Josh to get their happy ending! they deserve it!
