    DAVID'S MOTHER WAS A VERY special woman, that was for sure. She didn't ask questions, nor did she say much, but it was clear to both Claudia and Regulus that she was the reason David had turned into the brilliant man he was.
    When the woman quickly walked into the kitchen of her house - where all of them were staying - one morning, rushed straight up to Claudia and tossed a newspaper in front of her, Claudia nearly spat her tea out for the old lady was usually slow and careful.
    "I think this is what you're looking for, honey," the woman said with a grin, and then she disappeared.
    Claudia shared a look with Regulus, "Wonder what she means?"
    "I don't know," said Regulus. "Read it."
    "Aren't you impatient?"
    "Aren't you slow?" Regulus returned with a smirk. "But honestly now, will you please read it before I snatch it out of your hands?"
    "Merlin," Claudia sighed as she straightened the newspaper out and read the page that had been opened by David's mother. 
    She scrunched up her nose, "All it says is some dumb news about a charity gala thingy that rich wizards are going to go to."
    "And...?"
    "And what?" Claudia asked dumbfoundly.
    "Surely she showed it to us for a reason," Regulus insisted.
    "I guess..."
    "So what could that reason be?"
    "I don't know, Reg," Claudia sighed, putting the newspaper down and taking a sip of her tea. "If I would've known I wouldn't just be sitting here, would I?"
    Regulus opened his mouth in order to speak, although no sounds came out as he stared at Claudia and David stomped into the kitchen. 
    "Are you two serious?" He asked, placing his hands on his hips in a very parental way.
    "What?" The two asked in unison.
    "Charity gala," he said. "For endangered magical creatures. Held by Queenie Goldstein."
    "Who's that?"
    He sighed, "Queenie is the younger sister of Tina."
    "...And who's that?"
    He sighed once more, "Newt Scamander's wife!"
    "Oh," Claudia and Regulus both said out of understanding.
    "Yes," David said. "Oh."
    "So you think he'll be there? Newt, I mean?" Regulus asked.
    "I think it'd be weird if he wasn't," said Claudia.
