"Tea house?"nagtataka kong tanong. Kalagitnaan ng gabi pero dinala kami ni Frost sa isang Tea House. Nakasarado ang pintuan at may karatulang nagsasabi na Close. Wala ding ilaw at senyales na may tao sa loob.
We're going to have a tea in the middle of the night? But it's already close.
Tinulak ni Frost ang pintuan,gumawa ito ng isang langitngit.
"Frost,are we doing a crime?"natatakot kong tanong.
"The door is not lock."sagot niya.
Eh ano naman?! Hindi lang lock ang pinto pero walang sinabi na pwede tayong mang-trespass!
I was amazed by the interior. Simple and cozy,perfect for relaxation afternoon tea. I want to drink tea with my Mama here someday.
Back to the question,ano nga ulit ang ginagawa namin dito?
Walang katao-tao maliban samin at sa may katabaan at pandak na lalake sa counter,pinupunasan niya ang teacup at pinapanood ang aming mga galaw.
"Sorry but the tea house is already close. Please visit us again tomorrow."announced by the tea sommelier. Hindi nagpatinag si Frost,umupo siya sa isang stool kaya sumunod kami dito ni Zech.
"When the moon rises and unfurled the curtain of night. I would like to have some tea." Frost said.
What's with the poetic phrase? As if naman na tutugon ang tea sommelier dahil lang sa kagustuhan niyang magtsaa sa kaalgitnaan ng gabi. Katatapos lang din naming uminom ng alak 'no.
"Very well. Here's the menu."mahinahong saad ng tea sommelier at inabot kay Frost ang listahan.
He complied?!
Hindi ko inaasahan na ganon kadaling kumbinsihin ang barista.
"I would like to order three cups of White Peony tea." Frost ordered. Pinasadahan ko ng tingin ang menu pero napataas nalang ng kilay dahil wala naman sa listahan ang White Peony tea.
"How would you like me to brew the tea?" The chubby man's eyes sharpened. It's suspicious why this barista is responding well from Frost's weird antics.
"The tea should be poured first in the teacup before the milk."
Napatango tango ang barista. Binaba nito ang teacup na kanina pa pinupunasan. "Follow me. I'll take you to your room."
Tumayo si Frost at sinundan ang barista,humayo din kami ni Zech at ginaya ang kanyang ginawa. The barista opened the door,we entered the small room. May bilugang lamesa sa gitna at isang upuan. Walang bintana at napaka kipot nito para sa tatlong tao.
"Enjoy your night time tea." The barista smiled. With that,he shut the door leaving us three alone in the small room.
"Anong klaseng tea house 'to? Tatlo tayo pero good for one room ang binigay."iniis kong sabi at umupo sa nag iisang upuan bago pa nila ako agawan.
"Did you really think that we are here to have a tea?"mapang asar na tanong ni Zech.
Kung hindi,bakit umorder si Frost?
