Rose Pov

Delgan shook his head disapprovingly. "We'll have to decline your offer, we need to get back to the kingdom and report our mission," Delgan said sternly. Rose nudged him "Hey we've been working our asses off. I think we can take a little break. Besides, I want to make sure Sylvie is ok" Rose insisted. Delgan sighs in defeat once again. "I can't win against you can I" he mused. She shrugged. "Nope, and I don't even know why you try," Rose said with a smug look on her face. " Let's get fucked up," Malikai says excitedly, Freya nods in agreement "Why the hell not".
Going ahead of the others, Rose plops down in the chair in the corner of the tavern. "So what's on the menu," she asked the barkeep from earlier. She was glad to see he finally was able to put down the clean mug. Although looking much more tired than before, the tavern was much livelier than before. It was filled to the brim with people. Men, women, and even some children sat at tables, stood along the bar, or leaned against the walls. As she ordered her food, Rose analyzed the room once more. Laughter could be heard all through the tavern. Men hooped and hollered in excitement at their new freedom, women and children danced and played near the fireplace as a group of people pulled out their instruments and started to perform. One familiar man sat at the bar and looked to be telling a dramatic story. Rose couldn't help but overhear.

"It must have been a ghost I tell you! One moment I have both me arms, I'm working hard and busting my tail. The last thing I remember is coming to the tavern for a drink with my lads, and the next thing I know I look down, and my arm is gone! No one seen nothin, no one can explain, just a missing arm and a missing loaf of bread... Ghost I tell you!" The man finished. Rose couldn't help but chuckle. "Guess Grimm and I are Ghost now" She mumbled to herself.

She felt a little bad that Grimm's dramatics caused the man to lose an arm, 'but the bread was pretty good' she chuckled to herself again. Delgan coming to sit next to Rose pulled her out of her thoughts. "Enjoying the party?" He asked. In response, Rose lifted her mug of ale before taking a nice chug. "Careful Rose, wouldn't want you passing out in a room full of strangers" Delgan taunted. Rose's brow squeezed together. "Oh please, you know you've always been the lightweight between us" she challenged. Delgan waved the barkeep to send another round to the table. "Is that so?" The two raised their full mugs. "Guess we'll have to see about that" Delgan accepted. With a valiant stare, the two clanked mugs and began to chug down the ale.
