soojin was indeed gripping her roommate's hand when she opened the front door, releasing an unladylike squeal when bada and taeil appeared with an air fryer. "squishies!" she greeted before practically pulling them into the apartment.

bada was chuckling as she happily followed the ravenette, taeil, on the other hand, appeared as if he'd just been woken up from the best nap of his life.

frankie gave him a small nudge, "i've got the hard stuff on the top shelf. ask johnny to grab it for us when he gets here."

within twenty minutes, everyone had arrived and three of the oldest members, along with ryuji the intern, were seated on the kitchen floor sending vodka around. taerin and her brother were shouting at each other while playing charades, some others sitting tiredly on the couches surrounding the loud siblings.

soojin smiled. she couldn't help but wish they had a pool table.

turning around, the ravenette was surprised to see kun at the kitchen table, laughing with haechan and siyoon. mark was leaning against the side of the table a few seats away from the group, a mysterious boy standing so close to him that soojin felt like she was interrupting them just by watching.

approaching her perfect soulmate, she dropped into the open seat and took a sip of her liquor. "hi." she greeted after seeing the unusually shaped smile on kun's face. "hi~"

oh my god, he's totally high.

though she was laughing at his sluggish movements and words, soojin couldn't help but feel slightly concerned for the adult beside her. she didn't think he'd ever been high before, and it was likely he'd eaten one of siyoon's brownies on accident.

the girl stiffened when kun leaned towards her, his head falling atop of her shoulder peacefully. soojin noticed haechan wiggling his brows at her, silently wincing when siyoon slapped him.

unsure of what else to do, soojin remained still. she took slow sips of her remaining drink, afraid she may disturb the hazed boy on her shoulder.

"that is so cute, i'm literally crying." haechan teased, and when the older female snarled, he widened his eyes in defense and began pointing at the couple behind her. carefully twisting her head to follow his finger, soojin internally cooed when she saw sungchan taking care of a drunk minah.

she didn't bother looking around at the other guests, her prior focus on keeping kun comfortable for the rest of the night.
