Jungkook is waiting for Y/N to be at the penthouse restaurant. The elevator door opens, and Y/N arrives strutting in her heels and a blue dress. She taps Jungkook, and he instantly stands up, awestruck by her choice of outfit. He looks at her up and down. "Wow, you look amazing," he says to her, and she thanks him. Y/N was about to sit down until Jungkook stopped her. "Let me; I wouldn't be a gentleman letting you sit down by yourself," he said, taking out her seat, and she sat down.

"I am glad you decided to wear the blue dress; you truly look good," he says. "Yeah, I think it looked better on me," she says, and the waitress comes with food and wine and serves us.

"I didn't know what wine you'd like, so I brought a few for you to select," he says, showing her wine options. "I will pick this bottle of chardonnay. Can can i ask why you picked the expensive bottles? These cost near three thousand dollars," she says, worried about the cost and how much Jungkook is wasting.

"Y/N, if I am not worried about the price, you shouldn't either. I want to have a good date, so I am willing to go all out, and believe me, this is nothing. If I wanted to go overboard, I would have picked a more expensive menu and beverages," he says, reassuring her.

"I know it, just I do not want you. It makes me feel like I cannot repay you," she says, and he laughs."Why would you repay me? I offered to take you on a date, so you do not need to feel like this just so you know if you were to ever ask me out on a date, I couldn't care. We went as long as I am with you. Everything will be fine," he says, looking at her. "No, can you allow me to spoil you and to enjoy the date no matter what the cost is?" he adds.

"You are right, I do not want to be a Debbie Downer. Thank you, Jungkook, for making an effort to make sure I have fun. Now let's start again and do this date right," she says, and he smiles, rubbing her hand. "So how was it touring around the city?" he says.

"It was good; the tour guide was really funny," says Y/N. "I am glad you had fun; it's a shame I wasn't there. Maybe next time," he says, and she agrees. Jungkook pours wine for the both of them, and they drink. "Wow, this tastes really bitter," she says, and he laughs. "Yeah, it does," he replies back.

"So, Y/N, what were you like as a teen?" says Jungkook. "Hmm, well, as a teen, I was very shy and quiet and pretty much reserved. I was also a major tomboy. I played basketball a lot only because I had a crush on one of the guys on a basketball team, so I thought if I joined the girl's basketball team and we hung out, he would fall in love with me," she says.

"Did he?" Jungkook curiously asks, and Y/N sniggers. "Nahh, he was a cheater. What's so funny is that he cheated on me, a girl that was completely different from his type. He said he was into sporty girls, and he ended up cheating on me with some girl who was into fashion. Looking back at it, I was so naive, but thank God he cheated because he helped me find my own path, which was music," she says, and he listens. "What were your teens like?"

"My teens were pretty hectic. I never really got to have a simple teenagehood, especially being in a group and being famous. I never lived a normal life. I went from going to a poor community school to being educated privately on a tour bus. I couldn't even hang out in places regular people hang out, as a lot of people would just take pictures or stalk me," he says, and Y/N feels bad. "Did you ever wish for something back then but never get to do it because of fame?" she asks, and he nods.

"When I was sixteen, I had a bucket list that I never really got to achieve; they were so simple, but I just became so busy, you know," he says, thinking about it, and Y/N watches him zone out and think of an idea. "Would you like to do it?" she says, and he chokes, and she realises, "Sorry, I mean, do your bucket list like complete them," she says, embarrassed, and he smiles, realising, "Yeah, are you asking to accompany me?" he says, and she nods. "Yup, I think I owe it for now and yesterday to help," she says.
