Nikki wakes up to a call from an accounting firm asking her to come in for an interview immediately. After hanging up, she notices 10 missed calls from Ahir. Outside the girls' dormitory, Nikki's roommate Reema runs into Ahir, and they exchange pleasantries. A few minutes later, Nikki heads out for her interview, and Ahir is waiting to talk to her. Nikki doesn't want to talk about what happened last night, but to her dismay, Ahir teases that she begged him to kiss her and put her hands all over him after she got drunk. Shaurya finds Professor Alok to discuss the completed exam. Based on his stellar performance, Professor Alok invites Shaurya to join his project. Even now, Shaurya staunchly insists that it's against the rules, and Professor Alok actually mimics him LOL. Then, he hands Shaurya the project proposal to read over and asks him if he's interested in working together with the top scorer on the exam. Shaurya asks if he's recruiting two people, and Professor Alok laughs that he can recruit as many as he wants. It's all free labor anyway. Ha, this prof is too real! Shaurya agrees to join the project. Meanwhile, Nikki has a successful interview with the accounting firm. Her manager seems like a professional and kind person, telling Nikki that after the internship she will have a good chance for converting to full-time. Nikki even addresses her as Didi (didi = older sister). Didi gives her the offer on the spot and sends Nikki home to think about it. It must be disappointing that this isn't a job in advertising, but a job is a job. In the cafeteria, Nikki talks to her mom on the phone while balancing a lunch tray unsteadily with one hand. Shaurya is also coming to get lunch, and just as they cross paths, Nikki's soup bowl starts to tip. Shaurya grabs the wobbling tray from Nikki and carries it to a table for her. Nikki gazes after him as he walks away to pick up his own tray, and we're treated to a long and peculiar scene of Shaurya carefully drinking from his soup bowl, walking a few steps, and then drinking more soup so that it doesn't spill like Nikki's did. Nikki is so absorbed that she goes silent while her mom continues to nag about her internship plans. Soon, Nikki starts her intern life. She has her own cubicle, and for the most part everyone just sits in their own cube and works on their computers. Nikki gets a lot of tasks from her coworkers, delivers USB's to Didi, and spends many late nights working at her dorm. One evening during rush hour, she is unable to squeeze onto the bus. Her mom calls at this opportune moment, as mothers are wont to do, and fusses over Nikki's long commute from her school dorm to her workplace. She says she has arranged for Nikki to stay at her friend Auntie Aastha's extra house near the office. Shaurya has also started working in Professor Alok's lab. There, he meets Shagun, the pretty girl with long hair who took Nikki to see Mr. Tez in the last episode. She is his senior in this lab, since she has been working there longer. On their first meeting, she helpfully points out a mistake in Shaurya's calculations. Nikki moves in to Auntie Aastha's place, which is a spacious, nicely furnished, and slightly dusty space. By the door, there's a basketball painted like a globe with the letters "A" on it, and Nikki thinks it stands for fart ("A+").
