Traitor

Anokhi goes missing in the marketplace, but when Shaurya hears she's lost, he buys a candle and holds it up so she can find him. He jokes that it's scented this time, and they both smile in relief. As they walk home, Anokhi admits that Shaurya made her heart flutter a little back there, so he decides it's time to come clean about his situation.

He tells her that he has a real fiancee, but Anokhi acts offended by Shaurya 's implication that she has feelings for him, and she (a bit too vehemently) insists that she doesn't. In fact, she says that she has several men in Delhi who are probably crying at her loss, ha.

Meanwhile, Ahir drops Shagun off at Shaurya 's house, which is clearly empty at the moment. She coolly dismisses him anyway, and as he's being driven away, he passes Shaurya and Anokhi. He seems to recognize Anokhi, but he concludes that there's no way she could be who he thinks she is.

Savita and Devi see Shagun in front of Shaurya 's house and stop to ask what she's doing. She says she's waiting for Shaurya and tells them that she's his fiancee. They're scandalized, since they think Anokhi is his fiancee, so they quickly move on.

Shaurya tells Anokhi that his fiancee is studying in Russia, so she won't mess up their plans. As soon as Shaurya and Anokhi turn the corner and see Shagun, Anokhi knows exactly who she is.

Awk-ward.

Shagun studiously ignores Anokhi as she tells Shaurya that she came to pick up her uncle's car, but Shaurya offers to drive her home since it's late.

He explains that Anokhi is carrying out a mission with him, and that they won't see each other again after it's over. Anokhi backs him up and rambles a bit about being in Division 11, but Shagun says she doesn't care, heh. Shaurya sends Anokhi inside, promising to be back soon.

As they drive away, Shagun notices that Shaurya keeps checking the rearview mirror worriedly. She mentions that this is only the seventh time they've spent time with each other, and that only two of those times have been in the seven years since they were engaged. She says there's no love between them, and that she wants that before they get married.

Shagun lets her mother know that Shaurya will be dropping her off, so her mom parades around in front of her brother, Colonel Kapoor, in inappropriately fancy outfits trying to decide what to wear. He tells her to just be polite, so she ends up choosing a hanbok, ha.

When they arrive, Shaurya is anxious to get back to Anokhi, but Shagun's mother insists he stay for dinner. She goes on and on about how the matchmakers are pestering her to let them set up Shagun (Colonel Kapoor: "I never heard about this..."), and Shaurya nervously checks his watch.

Ahir is also thinking about Anokhi, sure that the woman he saw tonight looked just like her. Anokhi's brother Pawan Bhalla had once set Anokhi and Ahir up on a blind date, where Anokhi had played her Picky Princess role to the hilt. She had made it clear there wouldn't be a second date, having pegged Ahir as a conman right away, and had told him to just scam some money from Pawan Bhalla then get lost.
