EPISODE 22 RECAP

Anokhi finds the office teeming with rumors, and the little cliques break up guiltily when Team Leader Tez returns. Bebo urges Kitty to ask Team Leader Tez if it's true he took a bribe, but Kitty already believes he'd never do such a thing. Manager Monty overhears them and asks who took money, and although Bebo comes close to cracking, Kitty says that he needn't worry about false rumors.

When he asks if it's about Team Leader Tez, the look on both ladies' faces give them away. He beelines for Team Leader Tez, sees the envelope still in his pocket, and orders him to his office. But instead of yelling at him for taking a bribe, he just says to be more discreet about it.

Team Leader Tez says that they've only given him two envelopes, so Manager Monty threatens to embarrass him in from of everyone if he doesn't "get everything organized." He growls to Team Leader Tez that their twenty-year friendship ends here. The whole office watches as Manager Monty takes the envelope from Team Leader Tez's jacket. Team Leader Tez grabs it and opens it, and out tumbles... sweet potatoes. LOL, apparently one of the drivers' mom sends them to him.

Out in the terminal, Shaurya confesses to Uncle that he likes Anokhi a lot. Uncle advises him not to do anything he'll regret, because "seasonal" relationships are rare and not meant to last.

Reema turns down an invitation to a team dinner, saying she has a date, which gets Anmol's attention. But he shrugs it off and gets everyone ready to go.

Shaurya returns to the office and gets a close-up view of Anokhi stretching, particularly her adorable backside. She stops when she notices him there, and she admits that she stayed late to wait for him. She asks him out to dinner, admitting that she even researched some restaurants, but he says he has to be home early.

At her disappointed expression, he almost breaks, but she asks about what he said earlier and how long she should wait for him. Shaurya recalls Uncle's advice not to have any regrets, and he starts to say something, but Ahir interrupts, "Don't bother waiting. He said he has to go early. He rejected a woman who even researched restaurants, so you don't have to wait."

Shaurya says that's not necessarily true, but Ahir coos that Anokhi is innocent and clueless when it comes to men. He throws an arm around her possessively and drags her off to have dinner with her instead, ignoring her pleading expression to stop acting this way.

Once they're alone, Anokhi asks Ahir what his problem is, but he says he's helping her. He tells her that Shaurya will be out in about three seconds, making Anokhi hopeful, but Shaurya disappoints them both. Anokhi wilts (Ahir is thoroughly bemused) and gets in the elevator to go home, so when Shaurya does finally run after her, he's too late.

Later, as the security team is heading for round two, Anmol notices something strange...Reema, sitting in a convenience store eating dinner alone.

The same thing happens to Team Leader Tez - he spots Manager Monty drinking alone at a bar. He joins him and tells him that the embarrassment he's feeling is his own fault, and Manager Monty accuses Team Leader Tez for being jealous of him when he got promoted to director. Team Leader Tez asks if Manager Monty forgot how he stomped on others to get ahead, and Manager Monty just grumbles, "But I didn't stomp on you."

Calling him affectionately by his name, Team Leader Tez asks Manager Monty how many friend he has left who can address him that way. Manager Monty admits that Team Leader Tez is the only one, but he says it's because he works hard. Team Leader Tez corrects him: It's because he loves his title more than his name. Team Leader Tez asks if he's happy, but Manager Monty can't answer the question.

Ahir takes Anokhi drinking, where she pounds several shots as she wonders why Shaurya would tell her he likes her, then ask for time. Ahir says he doesn't know since he's not that kind of guy, and Anokhi quips that Ahir also never goes on more than two dates with the same girl, hee. She says he just hasn't met The One yet, and he counters that maybe he has and just didn't realize it... and that maybe it's her.

She just tells him to quit joking, so he demands to know what she likes about Shaurya that's better than himself. Anokhi thinks, then says dreamily that she just likes being with Shaurya, and his voice, and the way he looks at her like she's special.

Annoyed, Ahir snaps at her to go tell Shaurya that instead of him. Anokhi surprises Ahir by deciding to do exactly that, right now. She pays the bill, and after she leaves, Ahir says sadly, "I didn't want you to pay. I just wanted to be with you."

Shaurya passes the Fox Bride Star restaurant on his way home, where he remembers confessing to Anokhi in the rain. Anokhi pulls up in a taxi, and after taking a moment to gather her courage, she approaches him. She trips at the last second and lands in his arms, and she admits that she stopped drinking because she needs to say something to him.

"I like you, too," she tells him. "I said, I like you, too. So please don't break down. I don't know what it is, but I hope you'll stop being broken because of me." She turns to go, but stops to add that she's good at waiting.

She tells him again that she was born in summer but loves autumn, because she first met her parents in the autumn. She had to wait to meet her parents, and she had to wait for her dad after they divorced, and she waited three years to get her job at the airport, "So, Shaurya, you can take as long as you want. I can wait as long as you need me to."

This time she really does walk away, fighting back tears. But she turns back when she hears Shaurya following her, and he's practically running by the time he pulls her into his arms. Crying, he whispers into her ear, "I love you," and they stay like that for a long, long time.

The following day, Shaurya asks Anokhi out on a real date. She's on Cloud Nine all day, and Reema guesses that she has a date.

Anmol asks howReema's date went last night, and he looks like he's confirmed something important when she vaguely says it went well.

Shaurya is off work, and as it grows closer to the time for his date with Anokhi , he looks like he's making a difficult decision. He heads to a park where he's supposed to meet Anokhi , but instead of walking, he's in his wheelchair. People look at him as he passes them, but he studiously ignores them.

Anokhi is on her way out of the terminal when she hears a commotion nearby - it's the stalker, who has the female airport employee by the throat and is waving a knife at her. She begs him to let go so they can talk, but he just yells that he knows she still loves him.

Anokhi runs over and tries to pry the stalker's hands off of the woman, but he shoves her away with the hand holding the knife. Anokhi freezes in shock, then looks down to see blood dripping onto the floor. Even the stalker looks horrified as Anokhi slowly sinks to the floor, and luckily Anmol and Reema arrive in time for Anmol to disarm the stalker.

Shaurya gets a call fromReema on Anokhi 's phone, and she tells him that Anokhi is hurt. But before he can learn more, a kid bumps into him and he drops his phone, but it falls down a stair so he can't reach it. Desperate, he leans further, until his wheelchair tips on the stair and he tumbles out onto the ground.
