In this story : you will see

A former human turned goblin (pishaach) is cursed to remain immortal and alone for hundreds of years. Anokhi, a girl who can see spirits, accidentally summons him, but she's not what he expected.

Scene : battleground
A warrior is bravely fighting with the troops of enemy. He's not hesitating a bit, while decapitating the opponent's head. He's skilled with his sword. The sun has been hided behind the clouds, but his blooded sword is still shining. He's handling a bunch of soldiers at a single time, with perfection. Soon, the cantonment of his side started congratulating each other. They had finally won. Once again, the General Shaurya had shown his true power. He's the hero of the nation. One of the loyal person of him suggested to return back to fort, to show this to majesty. Although General Shaurya hadn't seen his majesty for a lomg time, he wanted to go back. He wanted to see if the majesty is living well and healthy. So, he finally decided to return.
When he reached to the kindom, all the state people started celebrating the win of their hero. They welcomed him whole-heartedly and gave best wishes to him. He's become the hero and an idle to many young generations.

When he reached to the gate of the palace, he's stopped there. The followers of General Shaurya marched ahead and asked the door keepers to open the door.
But, they didn't. Then, General Shaurya came forward and asked if the door keepers loved their life? Because there's none, who could oppose him. He would surely reach to the king, but the question was whether the security members would remain alive to see this.
Finally, they gave up and let the troop to enter. When, he entered the palace, a loud voice welcomed him in a very unfriendly way.
"Don't you listen a simple thing? You're asked to not return. You're ordered to remain away from this kingdom as much as you could. Then why'd you come here?" It was the voice of the evil minister there. His name's Vineet. He had worn a black attire just as his heart. His dark black eyes were no less than a snake. His always abnormally red lips would appear as if he had drunk fresh blood. Even his beard would gave an extra horrific look. He seemed to be the reflection of bad luck and negativity. It was near to impossible for a good and innocent life to breathe in that dark aura. But, General Shaurya was too brave, so he ignored the warning of that Minister and moved ahead. Soon, he's met with a very beautiful lady in centre of the outdoors of that palace. She's wearing a pink colour dress with flowers of white petals. She's looking elegant and graceful in that dress. Her hairs were tight in a bun. She's an extreme and rare beauty. Her eyes dampened on sight of seeing that General. She's looking at every scar that he's wearing courageously on his body. Her heart ached at this look. She seemed to love that general a lot. She seemed to be years younger than him, but she's the queen of that kingdom. General just gave a glance on her and froze there for some seconds. He couldn't see that look on this young goddess of beauty and kindness. Just then, minister announced that, "General Shaurya, if you dare to attempt any single step in the way of king, your family will be hurted. Every step you'll take, one memeber of your family and loved ones will be killed. No dear ones of you will be left, to remember you." General took a stance on that elegant beauty, who's wearing a prideful look in her eyes. He didn't want her to be hurted just because she's showing sympathy for him. He could see from corner of his eyes, that every member of his family was tied with ropes and was made to stand in a line. His parents, cousins, people from his maternal side and paternal ones, no one remained.
He showed another regretful glance in the side of that beloved queen.
Here minister was talking with the young king, who's standing farther away from this chaos. He was a bit little for being a king. He's nothing more than a mere teenager. Minister whispered in ears of  the king, "Your majesty, can you see the affect this General has on your people? They seem to respect him more than you. It's not good for your glory. They can shove you away and make him sit on this crown. You need to stop him. This is the right time to kill him my lord." That king showed no expressions on his face.
But, that queen gave a sad look and said, "General Shaurya, you must go ahead and meet the king. If we're fayed to die, we would. No one can change destiny. You shouldn't leave your duty for anything and anyone." General gave last look on her, and then to his loyal and faithful followers, whose necks were on the point of sword. They asked him to move ahead and not to care about them. Finally, the General started taking steps with every bit towards the majesty. But, with every step he took, he could hear the cry of one of his loved ones. They're killed one by one. Soon, every person of his family and the ones that were faithful for him, left the world. But, he never even gave a look towards them. The cruel king had ordered to not show mercy to anyone, no child, no lady, even if she's pregnant, no old man.. Just none. Soon, all the cries stopped as his generation and the complete family tree destroyed in front of him. But, there were still many steps left between him and the king. Now, that when he realized that none was left and he took another step, one arrow just passed over his head and shot dead through that beautiful queen's chest. A lone tear escaped her eyes. She's even younger than the king. Basically she's a perfect teenage girl on whom every young boy would have a crush. She's the heartthrob of many, but none dared to approach her in fear of General's ruth and then, she had became the queen. When, she passed down on the floor with a thud, General looked at her direction but he could see none standing there. Where she's standing with her poised posture and calmed look, was there a body of her. She's taking her last breaths. The king moved ahead, without showing any sympathy to his own queen. He disowned her. While going, he ordered the hunters to kill that General too. He didn't want to stand there any longer. Soon then, the General was shotted my many arrows one by one.
His legs could not support him anymore because of the heavy bleeding and the pain of each bruise. One very injured soldier from his troop was left, who could die at any minute. General asked the soldier to kill him by his own blade. He gave the sword in hands of that soldier while remembering the moment, when the same sword waa given by none other than the majesty as a token of honor, to protect the kingdom. He had given him best wishes and had aksed him to assure their win in the battle at any cost. He had done everything the majesty had ordered to him. He had always been loyal and faithful to that king. But he still was dying like a traitor. He's shown as if he had deceived whole nation. Soon, the war hero had become a person who was bound to given treason or any hardest of all punishment.
Anyways, the soldier had accepted the last order from his General and inserted the sword right through his chest, the same sword who was bathed with the blood of his enemies, just killed him today. Before closing his eyes, he spared a look over that dead girl who had tried to approach him even after being shot, but her life faded in between. She couldn't even take her last breaths in the lap of the person, whom she loved the most in the world. With sorrowful look, he died just there. By then, his dead body was thrown away from the kindom on orders of that minister. He was thrown like a garbage in the fields. Even after him being dead, his body wasn't even respected, neither honored.
Shaurya could feel himself as dead, but he's still feeling the pain in his chest. He could see that his body had started rotting. Even the medical practioners had declared him dead days agao, but he still could feel something lingering. He couldn't move even an inch. Flowers started blooming. The butterflies started roaming around the flowers where his body was thrown. The day was too sunny. But then, suddenly the sky was filled with heavy black clouds and something rang in the ears of him.
"General Shaurya, you did a lot of sins in your life. You took many innocent lives, but you're wronged. The almighty has decided to punish you. He has planned to make you live forever. You can't be killed by anyone. You'll have to see death of every person you come close to, in front of your eyes. You will have to spend the rest of your life like this. You'll remain too close to deatg, but you won't be able to die. You will live a life of immortal until your bride comes and takes that sword out of your chest. You'll have to do good deeds so that you can be at peace later. When your bride comes and takes this sword out, you will return to nothing." That announcement was too loud, but only that General could hear it. He was shown as alive once again. But, he had something to do. He rose and marched towards the palace. Many years had passed, but he couldn't realize the difference in that time frame. He approached the minister and surprised him. The minister stumbled on seeing Shaurya infront of him, as he himself saw Shaurya dying along with his family. But, now he seemed to be a completely healthy man who hadn't aged at all. Shaurya wanted to take revenge for his family and the loved ones. He killed that minister with just one shot. Then, he forwarded to the King's room, where he saw the corpse of that majesty. He sat there and said, "Sorry for coming late." Then, he fired whole castle and moved away. He had no aim in his life. He was just wandering without any purpose.
Then, he saw a young kid crying on the grave of his one of the most trusted person of his troop. That kid was mourning on the death of his grandfather. When Shaurya saw this and came near to that kid, he wiped his tears and asked him if he was General Shaurya, the general nodded. He was sorrowing on death of all his loved ones too. The kid stood and bowed the General. He introduced himself as Sabherwal. He said that, he's learnt that he must follow the General and should respect his orders and will always. He must not left him alone.
Shaurya patted on the back of that kid. He was touched by that innocent life. He asked the kid to leave that land, as he had nothing left there. Both of them left that place and sat in a ship. They're travelling ny water as it was the only thing for transport across other continents or landmasses that were surrounded by water. In between there voyage, one night, the kids who was not even a teenager was hungry. Then, he saw that General eating a rice ball. His mouth was watering, he was empty stomach from a long time. General saw this and offered that ball to the kid. The kid once, leaped, but then denied. He said that He wasn't that hungry, as he had a little stomach, which fills easily. Actually, he was saving that food for gis General. He idolised him. But, Shaurya understood that and asked to take half peice of it. The kid accepted that. He had took a single bite, when pirates started looting the money from all the travellers. He asked the general to surrender all the money otherwise they would harm the kid. Shaurya simply replied that he had none. But, the pirates threw the child in ocean during high tides. It was the starting of the curse. After that immortality punishment, it was the first death of someone he had close proximity. In rage, Shaurya killed all the pirates, because he was a skilled fighter. After that punishment, he had got powers from the deity. He turned whole ship upside down and overthrew every single person present in that sail into mid ocean.
