Peter attended a meeting with most of the Avengers and a few extras regarding the storms. They have all elected to stay close and prepared, warning the public to stay indoors and out of trouble.

A nice quick chapter for us.

Now!

After dinner I decide it's about time I head out for patrol. I figure I should let Mr Stark know I'm going, just in case they need me. May is staying in the spare room next to mine. She's been on a phone call for the last two hours, to do with her work, so I'm just leaving her be.

"Hey Mr Stark," I call as I stick my head out of my bedroom donned in my suit except for the mask. "I'm gonna go out on patrol."

He sticks his head into view, an iron man helmet in hand. "You're not going unless you promise to call at the first glimpse of something— anything weird!" He warns, pointing at me. "Especially with your aunt here, I don't wanna be subjected to murder today."

"I will, Mr Stark!" I assure him. "I'll call if anything weird happens."

"You better," he waves me off. "Or, I'll... only let your suit fire confetti." He has a nonchalant tone but I know he's serious.

I put my hands up in mock defence. "I promise I will!" I assure him.

He doesn't say anything, giving a small nod as he walks off, fiddling with the helmet. I hear him tell Friday to fire up the lab which doesn't surprise me. I head back into my room and pull my phone out. I send a quick text to May, letting her know to ask Friday if she needs anything because I'm heading out for a while. Then I put it on charge and slip my mask on.

"Good Evening, Peter." Karen greets me as I slide open my window.

"Hey Karen," I greet back with a grin as I climb out and close the window behind me. I turn and jump, plummeting down towards the ground with a loud whoop of joy, before I fire a web and swing off towards Queens.

"Karen, call Ned." I order a few minutes later as I perch on a building's roof. I look around. It's dark, of course, but there's still a few people about despite Mr Stark's warning. Less than usual, but there's still people. Which means that there's still crime.
"Calling 'Guy in the Chair'."

He picks up after the first ring. "Hey, Peter!" He answers enthusiastically. "You need your Guy in the Chair?"

"Yep, if you're not busy!" I respond, still scanning the surroundings. I know that I could just use Karen, and sometimes I do, but it's nice to have a real person to talk to. Ned is smart, he's good at what he does and he's my best friend so why wouldn't I want to have him as my guy?!

"You've cured my boredom," he laughs. I hear typing. "Okay, I'm connected to your suit." Which means he can see my vitals, the suits vitals, and he can see and hear what I do. "Also synced into the police radio. We're good to go!"

"Awesome!" I grin. Just as I speak, a car siren goes off in the distance. "Ooh, looks like we've got action!" I take off towards it. When I get there, I see a man in a hood holding a crow bar standing next to a silver car with a smashed window. I land in front of him with a thud. "Huh. Looks like you're really revved up, dude! So tense!" I laugh. He glares at me.

"This has nothin' to do with you, go do your Spidey thing somewhere else." He snarls.

I put my foot on the car and lean on it casually. "Nah, I kinda wanna do my Spidey thing here."
