Sapnap looked at the King in confusion. "What?" he asked. The Fire King walked to him, his hands behind his back.

His burning cape followed behind him, scorching the ground as the little mobs stuck by him. "I'm sorry." He said.

The raven haired young man furrowed his eyebrows, "I don't know what you're talking about-" "You were born in fire. You're mother worried that the Nether was not the place for a child. It wasn't safe for you.

"You were the first Phoenix born in so long. She wanted you out of there so we had to. We had to keep you safe." The Fire King explained.

"This- this isn't real. I'm a blaze, I'm not a phoenix-" "Why do you think your flame is a different color? Why do you think you can manipulate fire? Why do you think it follows you around?" he was cut off by the king.

The Fire King walked to him, getting closer, "You feel it my son. You feel the Phoenix in you." he said.

Sapnap scoffed, "So what? I don't care if I feel it, you can't just crawl out of your hell to expect me to- what do you want?" he asked.

"To bring you back-" "Bring back my ass." George said. He didn't like the fact that his friend was lied to, that he was being pressured and now they wanted him back.

"You sent me away, and now you want me back? What the fuck is wrong with you?" Sapnap asked. "It was for you safety." The Fire King said.

Sapnap shook his head, "I don't and I won't. I have more important things to do." He said walking past him as he passed the heart to Corpse, not wanting to melt it.

"You're gonna kill her." The king said. Sapnap froze and looked back, "What? What did you say?" he asked.

The Fire King sighed, "You'll kill her. You're fire and she's water and ice even. You can't be together." He said.

Sapnap scoffed and gulped, "I burn her and she burns me but that won't stop me from saving her, she deserves to be saved."

He walked away with his head held high, the others following him. Getting on their horses, he was about to go but he turned his head.

Looking at his 'father' "You know, if you asked me nicely, I would have gone with you. But you just had to say I would lose her." he said before sighing and moving away from him.

Leaving the Fires alone, hoping Sapnap, their prince and phoenix would look back, but he didn't.
