Chapter 19: Hotel

After we rented a room for 2 nights, me and Dazai walked down the hallway to our room.

"So, we leave the day after tomorrow?" Dazai asked me.

I sighed, "Pretty much."

I stopped and looked at the door "Room 589".

I turned the knob and walked inside.

The walls were painted white, it had a mounted TV on the wall, and.... Only one bed.

"Woah!" Dazai exclaimed while landing face first on the bed.

"Wow..." I mumble.

Suddenly, I heard my phone ring.

"Y/n! How are you?" F/n exclaimed through the phone.

"Oh, pretty good." I say, sitting on a desk chair.

"How's Dazai? Has he done anything stupid yet?"

"Fortunately, no." I say.

"That's great!" She said. "Oh, hey Kunikida!" She said in Japanese. "I'm just talking to Y/n!"

All of a sudden, I hear Kunikida's voice.

"LISTEN HERE, DAZAI!" Kunikida yelled through the phone. "JUST BECAUSE YOU'RE GONE DOESN'T MEAN YOU HAVE NO WORK TO DO-"

"Woah! Calm down, Kunikida!" I say, "Dazai can't even hear you."

"Oh, hi Kunikida!" Dazai grabbed my phone and exclaimed.

I snatched my phone back from him.

"We'll be back on Wednesday. Don't worry!" I say.

"Fine. But don't take too long. I now have more than double the work thanks to you two." Kunikida sighed.

"Thanks, Kunikida! You're the best!"

"Okay, bye!" I hear F/n say.

The call ended.

"So, what's are we doing first?" Dazai asked.

"Well... You snuck inside the airplane without telling me you were tagging along, you ruined my getaway for a few days, and now...."

I sighed. "You have to tag along...."

"So?...."

"I'm going to get some food." I sigh and walk out of the room.

"How do you plan to get there?"

I lean on the door frame. "I'm calling an Uber."

"Okay! Don't be gone too long!" He exclaimed and waved.

I closed the door behind me.
