{Flashback}~Dazai's Pov:~
"Woah...." Y/n looked amazed.

"It's one of the best views of Yokohama." I said.

We were on the rooftop of a building for my birthday.

She leaned on the railing and looked at the view. I leaned on it beside her.

"How long have you lived in Yokohama?" She asked me.

"All my life. How long have you lived in America?"

"Also all my life."

"So.... Can you teach me at least one curse word?"

"No." She said.

"Please-"

"Never gonna happen, Dazai."

"So mean!" I pouted.

I looked to my left and noticed her staring at the ground. The wind was moving her hair... It was kinda beautiful..

I suddenly felt that feeling again...

It feels like my eyes light up and my heart beats fast...

What's wrong with me? Why am I feeling this way near her? I haven't even known her for long.. it's like heat's rushing to my face..

I noticed she was zoned out. I took this as a chance to get the thoughts out of my mind.

"What's on your mind?" I broke the silence.

"What?" She looked at me.

"What are you thinking about?"

She looked back at the view. I see a smile appear on her face. "Home. In America."

"You must really miss it, don't you?" I asked her.

"I miss my family if that's what you mean." She was fiddling with her fingers. I can tell she didn't notice.

"I see." I mumbled. I looked back at the view.

She must really care for them... I wonder if I'll ever get to meet them..

I looked at her while she couldn't notice.

She looked like she was zoning out again..

I looked back at the view. I realized something.

Wait..this feeling.. am I in.. love with her?

I looked at her. I felt my grip tighten on the railing.

It's like I wanna just... I don't even know how to explain it.

I noticed Y/n's fingers fidgeting. She was still looking at the view.

Her smile is so beautiful..

I felt a smile form on my face.

I looked ahead.

"What was your job before you moved here?" I asked her.

"I actually was a student in college for about 4 years."

"Oh, really?"

"Yes."

Something in the sky caught my eye.

"A shooting star!" I exclaimed and pointed at it.

"Huh? That's not actually a shooting star...."

"What do you mean?" I looked at her.

"Shooting stars are actually meteors. They just burn up in Earth's atmosphere, making a streak of light across the sky." She explained.

"Thanks for ruining the fun of it...." I grumbled, "I'm still making a wish." I closed my eyes.
