Chapter Sixteen

Maleeka Winters

Maleeka dried her hands off as she finished the dishes. She yawned and stretched as her phone ringed. She picked it up and noticed it was her mother.

"Yes mommy." She smiled.

"Hey baby what are you doing?" Charlene asked.

"Just finished the dishes what's up?" She asked sitting down.

"Well we wanted to let you know that we would come and visit you for Christmas." She said.

She mentally cursed.

"Umm ok sure." Maleeka said as she scratched her head.

"Good, we have something very important to tell you." She said.

Before Maleeka could answer a knock was on her door.

"Is it bad?" Maleeka asked answering the door.

"Hey beautiful." Yoongi smiled.

Maleeka eyes widen as she covered his mouth.

"Who is that? Maleeka you bet not be having no boy over." Charlene said sternly.

"Mom I'll have to call you back." Maleeka quickly hung up the phone.

She slapped yoongi arm as she closed the door.

"Ouch what was that for?" He asked.

"I'm sorry, I was on the phone with my mother. She heard a man voice and she's real protective over me. Especially when it comes to men." Maleeka explained.

Yoongi nodded.

"I missed you." He said.

Maleeka blushed.

"I miss you to." She smiled as she sat beside him.

"I came over here to show you Sam's termination letter." He said pulling out a packet.

"What's up with the packet?" She laughed.

"I'm firing a lot of people." He mumbled.

Little did Maleeka know Yoongi found every single person who spoke badly about her. He even went as far as placing a new bullying policy.

"Will he be sent back to the states also?" Maleeka asked.

"Yes." He said.

Maleeka let out a sigh of relief as she sat back. Yoongi smiled at her as he looked at her lips.

"Did you find a dress for the CEO awards?" He asked.

"Not yet? Why?" She asked.

"I haven't got anything either, want to go shopping?" He asked.

Maleeka smiled.

"Sure." She smiled.

Yoongi stood up and clapped his hands. Maleeka smiled at how he was and shook her head.
