Cocoa Cookie and Cotton Cookie were sitting together in the comfort of Cotton Cookie's village. Cotton Cookie was still hurt from her loss of Sherbet Cookie, so Cocoa Cookie was there to comfort her. Cocoa was a friend of hers, and just wanted to make all of her cookie friends feel better.

Cocoa tried everything. Giving her cocoa, patting her back, or just plain hugging.

"Come on, Cotton Cookie. It was only a month ago! I know he was your best friend.. but.."

"He was my best friend! I watched him disappear from my grasp with my own eyes!" Cotton Cookie was sobbing uncontrollably. It was a small, yet heartbreaking moment for her, so it was hard.

"Please.. It's going to be okay. You don't have to cry when you remember him. How about you think of happy moments that you had with him?" Cocoa said softly. She wanted her to know that she wasn't being of any harm, but this made Cotton sob more.

"The good old days.. when we would laugh together in the snow.." Cotton Cookie sobbed.

"Hey, how about I make something for us to eat? I don't want you to spend the whole day having a great sympathy for Sherbet Cookie's loss. I know it's hard, but you have to let go."

Cocoa walked to Cotton's kitchen and started cooking something for the both of them. Of course, she made a side drink of cocoa. It was her specialty after all.

When Cocoa was finished baking, she served a warm, Fluffy Castella and a side drink of cocoa with marshmallows. She gestured for Cotton to come to the table to eat.

"Come on Cocoa, you can procrastinate later!" Cocoa teased. Cotton slowly walked over and sat next to her friend. She smiled lightly as she took a bite of the Castella.

"Mmm.. This is delicious..!" Cotton Cookie said with her mouth still full. "How did you make it?" She asked.

"Oh, it's just a recipe that I usually keep in my head. I've memorized it and I always nail it every time!"

"You do! This is amazing..!" Cotton finally swallowed the treat, and they both finished their meal together.

Later, they both sat on Cotton's couch and hugged each other. Cotton was feeling better, which made Cocoa happy. She finally got a break from that sobbing cookie.

"Hey, since you're better, I guess I should go now. You have better things to do anyways.." Cocoa blushed and walked towards the door, but something pulled her sleeve.

It was Cotton Cookie.

"Don't go. I was going to.. return the favor. I mean, you did make me feel great.." Cotton blushed lightly, but she tried not to make it a big deal. She scooted closer to Cocoa Cookie, her blush getting heavier. 

"Uhm, of course..! What might that be? I-" Before Cocoa could finish her sentence, Cotton Cookie gave her a soft kiss and pulled away quickly. 

They both stood there, their eyes locked for what seemed like an eternity. Cocoa then nodded and returned a light kiss on her cheek. They both waved each other when after Cocoa Cookie disappeared into the snow.

Cotton closed the door and leaned on in, then sat down. She covered her face, still blushing.
