Licorice Cookie was in his room alone. He was on his phone scrolling through Parfait's online contacts.

It was a Friday afternoon in the Dark Enchantress Kingdom. Licorice had just refreshed Parfait's Instajam for the fifth time to finally see her concert post.

Thank you all so much for coming to my last concert!

Well, do I have the news for you! My concert starts downtown tonight at the CrumbleWafer Theatre Stage at 8:00pm sharp! I hope you preordered the tickets for this one, because it's gonna be great! My newest Parfait Hoodies and other Merchandise is also being sold after the concert at a price of  $39.99~!

He had preordered tickets a week before the concert, clearly excited about the news. He hurried down the halls and arrived in the main room where Pomegranate was hanging out.

"Do I need to drive you again?"

"Mhm! We have half an hour to get there!"

"You're excited over a girl.. Unusual.." Pomegranate mumbled to herself.

"Huh?"

"Mm.. Nothing! Let's go."

Licorice had already been dressed in every Parfait branded merch that he had. He hastily grabbed his shoes and went into the front seat.

"Hmm.. looks like we arrived early."

"I see some people already sitting down!"

"Whatever, just go. Text me when you need me to pick you up."

Licorice hopped out of his car as Pomegranate drove away almost immediately. Licorice turned away, slightly annoyed, and walked inside the building.

He turned in his tickets and chose his usual front row seat. He also was given a backstage pass for being at almost every concert.

Licorice saw crew members setting up props that Licorice recognized. He then saw Parfait's silhouette behind the curtain while she tuned her own guitar.

~20 minutes later...

Licorice had been sitting in his seat for a while, and the concert was slightly delayed.
