Pure Vanilla Cookie was sitting in the field of lilies. He felt at peace when he was alone.

As he breathed in the vanilla-scented air, he felt more and more relaxed.

But there was one thing...

Pure Vanilla couldn't stop thinking about how his friends fought for him in the Dark Flour War. He didn't feel right without them.

The thought awoke him from the peace, and he fell back into the field of lilies.

He looked at the sun, and his faint smile faded. Everyone he loved was separated from him during the period of the war.

Pure Vanilla sighed. He rested his head on the flowers and closed his eyes. He thought,

What do I want most in this world?

He questioned himself for so long, yet he could never find the answer.

He wanted love, joy, and friends, but he could only pick one.

Pure Vanilla opened his eyes and immediately jumped. He saw a familiar face but was still caught off guard.

It was a Cookie leaning down, looking at him with a smile.

"Uhm! So sorry! I was-"

"No, you don't have to apologize."

Pure Vanilla could recognize that firm voice anywhere. It was Dark Cacao Cookie.

"Dark Cacao? Why it's fancy seeing you here!"

Dark Cacao smiled. His eyes locked with Pure Vanilla's for what seemed like forever. However, Pure Vanilla realized that he was lost in his eyes and snapped out of it.

"I-Is there anything you need me for..?"

Dark Cacao's smile turned into his regular expression. He wanted to talk seriously with Pure Vanilla Cookie.

"You seem.. sad. Is there anything I can help you with?"

Pure Vanilla shook his head frantically. "No, no! I'm wonderful! I was.. relaxing.."

Dark Cacao sat next to him, still concerned. He could tell that something was wrong and wanted to help.

He put his hand on Pure Vanilla's shoulder. Pure Vanilla felt comfortable and laid his head on Dark Cacao's shoulder.

"Now, could you tell me what's wrong?"

"I... I haven't been feeling the best this week."

Dark Cacao nodded. The both of them looked into the field of lilies, which now looked extended.

Pure Vanilla continued, "I've been missing my friends... all the activities we did together... I missed.. you..."

Dark Cacao Cookie blushed. He hadn't felt so loved in such a long time. He laid his head on Pure Vanilla's head, and they both became comfortable next to each other.

Pure Vanilla looked down at one of the lilies in front of him. He smiled. It reminded him of White Lily Cookie, who was one of his closest friends next to Dark Cacao Cookie.

Pure Vanilla lifted his head and looked at Dark Cacao, who was still blushing at him.

"Thanks, Dark Cacao Cookie. You genuinely made me feel better."

Pure Vanilla teared up despite the comfort but quickly wiped his tears away.

"Awh, Pure Vanilla. Don't feel sad! It's going to be okay."

Pure Vanilla smiled and nodded, then he began to hug Dark Cacao Cookie.

Dark Cacao Cookie accepted the hug and began to tear up too. They didn't say a word to each other, because they knew they were already thanking each other in their head.
