It was a stormy afternoon, and the sky was dark grey. Red Velvet looked out his window feeling quite sad.

As the sound of raindrops hit the red-stained glass window, Red Velvet walked to his bed. He laid himself down and covered his face with his pillow. He was feeling a bit stressed at the time.

Red Velvet lay there for a few minutes, not knowing what to do with his day. His plans were–quite literally–washed away.

Suddenly, Red Velvet heard a knock on his door and shot up. He stood tall and straight at the door, hiding his feelings.

It was Dark Choco.

"Lunch is ready. Hurry up."

Dark Choco didn't make eye contact, but he did look up for a few seconds. He saw Red Velvet's faded expression and noticed something was wrong.

"Red Velvet, are you alright..?" Dark Choco asked before Red Velvet walked out of his room.

Red Velvet tilted his head down a bit and turned back slowly.

"Y- Yeah.. I'm fine" Red Velvet gulped. Dark Choco could tell he was lying and pulled Red Velvet back into his room.

Red Velvet looked up at Dark Choco holding his shoulders behind him. It was a quick glance, so Dark Choco didn't notice.

Dark Choco sat Red Velvet down on his bed and sat after him. He turned his body towards Red Velvet.

"Look, I know something's wrong," Dark Choco put his hand on Red Velvet's leg. "You can tell me."

Red Velvet blushed and looked down nervously. "I-I'm fine. You don't have to worry.."

Dark Choco could tell that he was lying. "I promise I can help." He wasn't great at talking to other cookies, but he knew he was once in Red Velvet's shoes.

"Look, I'm fine. Let's just.. go eat lunch." Red Velvet said, getting frustrated while rushing to the door.

However, Red Velvet stopped in the doorway and slowly turned back. "Are.. you sure I can tell you..?"

Dark Choco smiled and nodded. Red Velvet slowly closed the door behind him.

"Well, it's.. about Chiffon. I wanted to have some quality time with him since he'd been acting a little weird lately, but with this bad weather.. I.." Red Velvet's eyes started to tear up. Dark Choco walked up to him and hugged him.

"Red Velvet Cookie. It's going to be okay.." Dark Choco eased his hug and pulled away. "There's always tomorrow. Even if something important comes up, I'll cover you."

Red Velvet looked up at Dark Choco as his eyes glistened with joy. "R-really..?! You'd do that.. for me? B-but what about Dark Ench-"

Dark Choco put his finger on Red Velvet's lips. "Shh.. Don't worry about anything. You have me." Red Velvet teared up again, but his tears were filled with pure joy.

"Thank you so much, Dark Choco." Red Velvet said with one last hug. He pulled away and they both walked down the hallway to the dining hall.

Red Velvet could hear soft trotting behind him on the carpet. He looked behind him and saw Chiffon happily following the two for lunch.

"Oh, Chiffon! Where have you been..!?" Chiffon jumped into Red Velvet's arms and licked his face. "Oh who cares, I'm just glad you're here with me!"

Dark Choco stood beside them, he blushed with a soft smile. He was just glad to know that Red Velvet was okay.
