Princess Cookie was sitting in her bed. She was writing in her diary and thinking about breakfast.

She dotted her i's with hearts and smiled at her entry. She lay down on her stomach to see Knight Cookie right in front of her.

"G-GAH! Knight Cookie!? Don't scare me like that!" Princess jumped, throwing her diary in the air.

"Sorry, your Highness. I didn't mean to-" Knight was cut off by Princess Cookie's diary, open in front of him.

"Well, what's this?" Knight Cookie squinted and began to pick the book up.

"No no no! Don't read that! It- It's private!" Princess swiftly crawled over and snatched it from him. She hid it behind her back as she crawled back to her pillows.

Knight Cookie stared blankly at her. Princess Cookie glared back, hiding the glittery pink diary under her soft, white pillow.

"Well?? Aren't you gonna help me with getting dressed??"

"Y- Yes, Princess!"

Princess scooted herself out of her bed, but she tripped on one of her blankets.

"P- Princess!" Knight immediately caught her right before she hit the ground. "Are you okay, my dear?"

"Ah..! Y- Yes.. I'm fine..!" Princess stuttered as Knight Cookie set her down. She smiled at him.

Their eyes locked for a second, and Knight Cookie savored that moment with her. He wanted it to last forever.

They both looked through the open door that revealed the balcony. The sunrise was a perfect mix of the softest apricot orange, to the brightest pink of the blushing bride.

Princess Cookie stepped towards the balcony and leaned herself on the railing. Knight Cookie followed behind.

"Isn't our Kingdom beautiful..?" Princess Cookie sighed.

"Why, yes it is. Now, didn't you want to-"

Princess Cookie turned to him and put her finger over Knight Cookie's lips. She turned away and stared back at the faded mountains in the distance.

Knight Cookie sighed and sat himself down on a pink, velvety sofa.

The image of the Hollyberian Princess right in front of him felt unreal.

Princess Cookie stretched her back and walked back into her room. "Now, let's get dressed, shall we?" She looked behind her as Knight Cookie was getting back up.

"Yes, your highness!"

Princess Cookie went into her dressed room as Knight hung up a few dresses for her to try out.

A few minutes later, Princess Cookie stepped out of the dressing room in a beautiful, bright pink dress.

"Hehe! How do I look?"

Knight Cookie stood there for several seconds, stunned by her beauty.

"Well..?"

"Y- Yes! You look.. d- dazzling..!"

"Hehe! Thanks!" Princess said, hugging him.

The warmth of the Princess was a feeling he wasn't used to. The last time they hugged was years ago.

"Knight Cookie... You're a great Cookie..."

Knight Cookie gave into the hug and blushed. "Y- You're a great Cookie too.."

After what seemed like forever, Princess Cookie pulled away from the hug. She walked towards the bedroom door and opened it.

"Now, let's get to breakfast, shall we?" Princess Cookie said, smiling.

Knight Cookie blushed as he followed closely behind.  They both went downstairs for a breakfast, and Knight Cookie felt pleased for the rest of the day.
