Chapter 32: Mall.

The sun rose and the sunlight was peeking inside Arthit and Mint's room. The sunlight was striking at his face, reminding him to wake up.

And as expected, Arthit actually woke up and gently got off the bed while Mint was still sleeping, hugging her pillow. Arthit then slowly opened the door, and silently closed it after.

He went downstairs and saw his mother cooking a fried rice, eggs and hotdogs for breakfast. "That smells so good,  mom. " Arthit praised. His mom chuckled and turned off the stove and putting the hotdogs into the plate.

"Let's eat, shall we?" His mother then sat to her seat, which was Infront of him. She then, started to fill her plate with foods and of course, Arthit did the same to himself and devoured himself to the breakfast his mother prepared.

"Mom, i was thinking we should go out today." Arthit said out of nowhere. "Huh?"

"I mean, i was thinking, since me and Mint will be leaving the the day after tomorrow, why don't we spend time together? Maybe watch a movie?" Arthit suggested and his mom smiled at him with joy. "Oh, son. You don't know how happy I am. I thought you would never ask me."

"Well...i..." Arthit smiled shyly and continued eating while his mother chuckled. Just as the two were finished their breakfast, Mint was walking down the stairs, her face brightens when she saw her papa, standing up from the table. She couldn't help it and ran to her papa and hugged him.

"Goodmorning, Sweetheart. Did you had a good sleep?" Arthit asked. He was knelling down to meet his daughter's height and, rubbed her back.

Mint, nodded cheerfully and said, "I did." And again flashed a smiled to him. He then stood up and patted her head and told her, "Eat your breakfast now."

Mint nodded and went to her seat. Her Nana already had prepared her plate and filled her plate up and told to her, "Eat well, my dear."

After a while he put down the report and leaned himself into the back of his chair and loosen up his tie a little. Today was another hectic day for him. He comes her early in the morning and go home late in the evenings. He barely have breaks and just focused on work even more.

He then, massaged his temples and rest for a little while. He was having a hard time, dealing with meetings and documents that was being processed.

-Knock knock!

A loud knock awakened him, his thoughts disappeared as he heard it. "Come in!" He shouted and sat properly.

The door was opened, revealing Jeed, his appointed secretary for now as she became permanently his secretary. "Khun Kongpob, your meeting is about to start." She informed.

Kongpob then nodded and stood up, buttoning his tuxedo and followed Jeed to the meeting room. Jeed being the secretary, opened the door for him and lead him in. He was then greeted by the people inside the meeting room.

He then sat at his seat, telling everybody to start the meeting which, lasted for a full hour without any breaks and, the only thing he could drink was the coffee that was served before hand.

"There you go." Arthit exclaimed as he finished dressing Mint up and helping her wearing her shoes. "Mom, are you ready, yet?" He asked.

His mom nodded and said, "Shall we go now?"

He smiled in satisfaction, looking at her mother. She was wearing a white simple dress with a white hand bag pairing her dress. While he was just wearing a simple shirt and jeans with the pair of adidas shoes. While Mint was wearing a pink shirt with a long sleeves and a long skirt and a pink shoes to top it all up.

"Let's go!" Mint cheered and ran to the car. She couldn't wait more in excitement. Arthit and his mother chuckled and then followed her.

Arthit then, helped his mother and daughter to get in the car and as soon as he was sure that they are buckled up, he then went to the drivers seat and started the engine.

On the way, the three were jamming at the song at the radio. The song really brought the three to become more lively and they enjoyed the song after song.

As a time flew by like a wind, they only found themselves in the parking lot to the mall itself. The three were all lost at the time, jamming their song. They all just laughed as they are getting out of the car.

Mint and Arthit was having a good time, walking around the mall while, the elder woman kept blabbering about some stories from Arthit's childhood.

"Oh, i remember, you were so young when you tripped and then, smashed your face to the ice cream you are holding. Your father have to pick you up and then, ran to the bathroom to clean you up."

"Time really flies, isn't it, mom?" Arthit asked looking at her mother. "Yeah, it is."

Arthit and his mother continued chatting while Mint was just listening to the conversation and sometimes asked some questions about Arthit's childhood.

Being a kid, of course. Mint was always curious about the things happening around her and always asked everything up. Arthit though never had a hard time for Mint to explain everything as the kid is always easy to learner.

Mint then, saw a small shop that was just standing in a row with the other shop.

"Papa, can we go get ice cream?" She pleaded. "Let's go then. Mom, would you like some too?"

"I am good. Go ahead. I will be waiting here." She said, indicating her son to go to the shop to buy Mint an ice cream.

"Okay. Mint, you go with Nana okay? Papa will get the ice cream." Arthit informed and earned a nod from her.

She then took her Nana's hand and looked to her papa's figure that was walking away from her and her Nana.

"Nana I have a question." Mint suddenly asked, her grandmother then, looked at her and said, "Go ahead."

At first Mint was hesitant but then decided to asked, "Do you know who my father was or, do you know what does he looked like?"
