Navalia quickly ran into the bathroom. Once inside, she locked the door and quickly drew a circle around her on the floor with her foot. It flowed and floated upwards, swapping out her dress for her Maverick outfit.

She put her hair up with a claw clip, put on her black face mask, placed her green-lensed goggles over her eyes, and pulled up the hood of her cloak.

Cthulhu returned to his regular staff form. Navalia held him up. The two of them converted into a green fog.

The fog floated through the vents and out into the entrance of the opposite wing of the museum. Navalia and Cthulhu took solid form there.

The corridor was completely empty. It was a little weird, considering such priceless items were just at the end of it.

"I wonder..."

Navalia conjured a mist to drift into the hall. Slowly but surely, gold moving lasers because visible.

"They're not red. Hmm..."

She took a risk and tossed a random crumpled up paper ball that was in her pocket into the corridor. Upon touching the lasers, it was cut straight down the middle.

"Ah. Spicy lasers. No matter! I'm not only the most powerful witch of the Boiling Isles, but I'm also the most agile."

She put away her staff and had her cape disappear for now. Navalia just got it dry cleaned, so she didn't want any damage to come to it tonight.

She took three steps back and took a running jump into the corridor. She front flipped and twisted in the air past the lasers.

She stood completely still upon landing. Then she sat flat on her stomach. A laser slowly moved up behind her. Navalia gasped.

"Oh no! My dump truck ass can't go under it!"

Navalia pulled herself up with her upper body, now standing on her hands. She jumped as high as possible from that position. Then she gave herself a little help with construction magic by having the ceiling give her a trapeze bar.

She grabbed onto it and used it to swing out of the laser field.

"Holy fuck that was a workout. Ow, side cramp!!"

As she massaged her side, she brought her cape back and looked around.

The treasure wing was actually quite lovely. The blue-gold-white color scheme was looking nice in the nighttime setting, even more so since the glass ceiling above brought in light from the full moon.

"Perfect escape route. Alright, where did I put that list?"

She took out the list of things she was supposed to take and skimmed it.

"A bronze horn from one of the Emperor's old masks..."

Navalia looked at the glass-cased display on her right. That was the one. She read a footnote on the list. The alarms are triggered by the glass breaking.

"Easy enough."

She drew a circle and stuck her hand through it. Another one appeared inside the glass casing and her hand reappeared through it and snatched the bronze horn.
