while dustin was trying to find someone through the walkie-talkie, erica and adella had gotten invested into the film in front of them. they only looked away from the screen when dustin ran back in, sitting down in his seat.

"do either of you have an batteries? double-a?" dustin asked.

"why would we have batteries?" erica shot back.

"i always carry batteries." dustin stated.

"so you have some then." adella mumbled.

"i need eight." dustin said and both girls gaped at him.

"eight?" erica repeated shocked.

"shit. guess we'll have to go to plan b." dustin mumbled.

"plan b? you have one of those?" adella questioned.

dustin looked at her before he bent forwards slightly to look at robin and steve. both girls did the same only to see the two teenagers no longer there, leaving the crumpled bag of popcorn between the seats.

"where... are they?" dustin asked.

they were outside the cinema and steve was drinking from the water fountain while robin waited for her go. steve paused his drinking, "that's amazing."

"so, like, i wasn't totally focused in there or anything, but... i'm pretty sure... that mum was trying to bang her son." robin said with wide, red eyes.

"wait, wait, the hot chick was alex p. keaton's mum?" steve questioned.

"yeah, i'm pretty sure." robin confirmed.

"but they're the same age." steve argued, drinking some more water.

"no, but he went back in time." robin said, waving her hand.

steve made a small noise of disagreement, "then why is it called back to the future?"

"he has to go back to the further because he's in the past. so, the future is actually the present, which is his time." robin explained.

"w... what?" steve asked dumbly.

"no, no," robin whined, shoving him off the water fountain, "it's my turn. you've had enough."

she started to drink from the water fountain as steve walked away from her, looking up at the ceiling. the blue had become blurry, streaking out towards him as he stared in awe, "hey, robin. you gotta check this out." robin took one last slurp from the water fountain before joining his side and looking at the ceiling. "check this... this ceiling, it's beautiful."

"oh, wow." robin chuckled, spinning on the spot.

both of them grunted as the ceiling span more and got blurrier. a wave of sickness came over them both and they rushed to the toilets where they both threw up in deprecate cubicles, the drug coming up as well.
