Before I Disappear

- Ena's Room -

[Ena]: <K, C/n, Where have you two been?>

[Y/n]: <SEKAI.>

[Ena]: <Huh? You two went back to that place?>

[Kanade]: <Yes. And we've made a decision. I'm going to make a song for Yuki. I want to save her. >

[Y/n]: <And I'm helping K with her song to save Yuki.>

[Mizuki]: <Huh?>

Later After Explaining

[Mizuki]: <I see. So you two talked to Miku... And she says Yuki doesn't really want to disappear.>

[Ena]: <....>

[Mizuki]: <Hey, C/n, K? Take me with you.>

[Y/n]: <What?>

[Mizuki]: <I know there's nothing I can do even if I go, and I can't understand exactly what Yuki's going through. But I feel like I should at least let her know how I feel. I want her to know how much I'd miss her if she was gone.>

[Y/n]: <Amia... All right. I'll let you know before we go back.>

[Kanade]: <mhm.>

[Mizuki]: <Thanks, C/n, K.>

[Ena]: <....>

[Mizuki]: <Enanan, you wanna come too?>

[Ena]: <I'm not going. Don't you three think you're making a big deal out of all this? It's not like Yuki is somehow special. Everybody has their own problems. I guess her being in that SEKAI place isn't exactly normal. But still, that's not enough to make me want to go to a place like that just for her sake. So I'm not going.>

[Mizuki]: <Okay, got it. All right. I guess it's just the three of us, C/n, K.>

[Y/n]: <Yeah.>

[Kanade]: <Thank you for listening, Enanan.>

[Ena]: <....>

- Kanade's Room -

(I have to finish this soon... before Yuki disappears.) Kanade thought.

[Kanade]: <Should I use strings as the main melody?>

[Y/n]: <I think we need something deeper.>

[Kanade]: <All right...>

"Yes, I need something deeper. I need something that'll reach Yuki, and fast." Kanade said.

(But what if I'm simply repeating the same mistake as I did before? The song I wrote for my dad only made things worse for him. This song I'm writing for Yuki might end up doing the same thing to her. If my music ends up hurting someone again... No... Miku told me herself.) Kanade thought.

Flashback

"However, I am sure that if anything is able to help her... It will be your music." Miku said.

Present

(I put myself into my music— my desire to give happiness to others with my songs. Maybe that kind of music doesn't really have the power to save anyone. Even so, I still want to believe what Miku said is true. I want to save Yuki with my music. For really this time.) Kanade thought.

[Kanade]: <I'm done.>

[Y/n]: <hehe, Finally.>

[Kanade]: <I need to let Amia know.>

[Y/n]: <Okay.>

Later

[Mizuki]: <K! Have you finally finished the songs?!>

[Kanade]: <Yeah, and thanks to C/n for helping me.>

[Mizuki]: <Wow, that was fast. But where's C/n?>

[Kanade]: <She is busy with her sister. She come back later.>

[Mizuki]: <Oh, ok. So what kind of song is it?>

[Kanade]: <Here, I'll send it.>

[Mizuki]: <.... I see. So this is how it turned out. K, this song will reach her for sure.>

[Kanade]: <Thanks. We should—>

Kanade got cutted off by the sound of two person  joined the voice chat.>

[Kanade]: <Ah, C/n. You're back.>

[Y/n]: <Yeah.>

[Mizuki]: <Enanan? You're still awake?>

[Ena]: <I've been working. K, did you finish the song?>

[Kanade]: <Yeah. Would you listen to it for me too, Enanan?>

[Ena]: <Sure, I guess.>

Ena clicked the sound and listen to it.

[Ena]: <.... Your songs always feel warm, K.>

[Kanade]: <Thanks.>

[Ena]: <Have a safe trip. Make sure you come back, all right?>

[Y/n]: <Of course.>

[Mizuki]: <All right! K! C/n! Let's go!>

[Kanade]: <Yeah. Let's go see Yuki.>
