"Did I come too early?" Y/n said as she wait for the others.
After waiting for a while Mafuyu arrived.
"Ah. Yuki... I mean Mafuyu. Over here!" Y/n said.
"You're alone?" Mafuyu asked.
"Yeah. Ena, Kanade, and Mizuki are not here, yet." Y/n said.
"I see." Mafuyu said.
Y/n and Mafuyu staring at each other not knowing what to speak.
"Um... Mafuyu... I want to confess something..." Y/n said slightly nervous.
"Hm? What is it?" Mafuyu said.
Y/n took a deep breath and sigh.
"I—" Y/n got interrupted by a cheerful voice before she could continue.
"I'm hereeeeeeeee! You're both so early!" Mizuki said with a cheerful tone as the other two are behind Mizuki.
"Mizuki, don't just run off so suddenly like that." Ena scolded Mizuki.
Meanwhile Kanade didn't speak anything as she look at the (h/c)-haired girl and the light purple-haired girl.
"You came together?" Kanade asked Y/n.
"Not really. I came here first then Mafu arrived. So what about you three? Did you came together too?" Y/n said.
"Nah, just bumped into each other on the way here. I'm utterly flabbergasted that Ena didn't overslept today, though." Mizuki said with a playful smirk.
"Are you trying to say I'm always late?" Ena said giving a glare at Mizuki which make them flinch a little.
"Well, anyway, let's go for that doll exhibit!" Mizuki said.
- Doll Exhibition Venue -
They were so surprised and look at the building in awe.
"Hm. This is a pretty big venue. I thought it'd be a lot smaller" Ena said.
"Yeah, I'm surprised. This place is very impressive." Y/n said.
"Wow... The dolls are all so cute! Look at them! And this one even has furry ears! How do you even make puff sleeves so tiny?! Hang on, the dress design will look super good on Y/n!" Mizuki said.
"Ew, I hate dress. It would look better on Kanade." Y/n said.
"M—Me?" Kanade said with a flustered face.
"Shut up, Mizuki... We don't need a running commentary on everything you see, okay?" Ena said.
"Yes, ma'am! As you wish!" Mizuki said with a teasing smile.
"For crying out loud..." Ena said with a deadpan.
"It's... amazing. Each doll has it's own world." Kanade said.
"World?" Mafuyu said.
"Yes. You can tell what sort of world they live in just by looking at them." Kanade explained.
"Right." Mafuyu said.
"Ah..." Kanade said.
"What's wrong, Kanade?" Y/n asked.
"Mafuyu's expression changed slightly just now." Kanade said while the three looks at Mafuyu.
"Did it? Looked the same to me. Anyway, hurry up and let's go in." Ena said.
"Yes." Mafuyu said.
They all walked in except for Kanade who lost in thought.
(Why did she have that look on her face just now? I need to understand her feelings better, as well as what's on her mind.) Kanade thought.
"But how?" Kanade said out loud.
Later
"Why does this doll look so lifelike? Complexion color?" Y/n said.
"Hm, looks like a lot of work went into the eyes, too. The way they sparkle when light falls on them..." Mizuki said.
"Hey, there are more works from the same artist over there." Ena said.
"Let's go see! Oh, there's a shop here too! I'll go take a look inside later~" Mizuki said with a singing tone.
"Is there anything that catches your eyes, Mafuyu?" Kanade asked.
"Not really." Mafuyu said while shook her head.
"I see." Kanade said.
"I'm going to the washroom." Mafuyu said and left.
"Oh, okay." Kanade said.
"Hey, Kanade." Y/n said.
"Ah? Y/n?" Kanade said.
"Where did Mafu go?" Y/n asked.
"Oh, she said she has to go to the washroom." Kanade said.
"Ah, I see..." Y/n said.
- Washroom -
"Hm?" Mafuyu hummed and saw the dolls.
(There are dolls here, too. This doll looks different, though...) Mafuyu thought and looks at the marionette doll.

(Oh, it's being held up by strings too. So, a marionette? Why does this doll seem so—) Her thought got interrupted by an unknown voice.
"You're such a good girl."
Mafuyu gasped loudly with a scared expression plastered on her face.
With The Other Four
"Mafuyu's taking a long time. Is she okay?" Y/n asked.
"The washroom should be that way." Kanade said.
Mafuyu walked out of the bathroom and breathing heavily while her scared expression is still on her face.
"Haah... Haah..." Mafuyu panted heavily.
"Mafuyu?!" Y/n yelled and ran to hug her.
