literally the bonus chapter that NO ONE asked for (literally no one, even in my poorer works there usually is at least one request hahahaha) and I'm sorry for the ending but :/ i can't find fics for eunwoo and chaeyoung so i need to hijack my rk fics apparently :P please don't be upset my rkers, i promise the next one will be a happy rk ending!

Cha Eunwoo never thought the way would come where he could have a chance with the golden voice of the country. Both idols debuted in the same year, in fact, she'd debuted months after him, but from the first time he saw her on the screen and how fast they'd climbed the ladder and trended for weeks, he couldn't help but feel as though she was a gift from God. Her voice was from another dimension, in his opinion, one that his hears weren't ready to hear. His crush on her started early on, and his band mates often teased him about it, telling him that he'd never have a chance with someone like her.

She was well loved.

He thinks it's for good reason too.

Cha Eunwoo thinks it's funny how things turned out— he remembers getting news that both groups would be in the same award show, with similar times for their performance, meaning that there was a high chance that they'd catch each other officially back stage. He'd prepared an inkigayo sandwich, tell her he's a fan and that they're the same age and if she reciprocates, he'd ask for her number. His band mates make bets that he won't fall through with his plan, hence, why for the sake of not only his feelings but his wallet, he decides to do it. He remembers the way his palms were sweaty as he waited on the side for her to come out from the stage, away from the vision of the fans. She looked ethereal, honey beige hair and pale, creamy skin that glistened from the hard work of her dancing.

There was something about her, that made him think that she was the one for him.

But he lately realises that it was simply his delusion, because just as he was about the take the step forward of courage, he watches as another man swoons in and hand she her some snacks and a bottle of water.

He feels his heart breaking, thinking that he really is a stupid boy indeed.

For months, he managed to keep himself too busy to think about the indirect rejection he faced, especially as his acting career began to start up. For a minute, he forgets he has a crush on her. Perhaps, time does heal.

Somehow, he ends up lost on his way out from the bathroom and when he goes out, he bumps into her.

He mentally curses at himself, noticing the way her eyes widen in surprise.

Cha Eunwoo thinks she'll scold him for not looking but instead, she looks at him with a tender smile.

"Eunwoo-ssi," she slightly bows, which he reciprocates, "... did you just come from the bathroom?"

She knows his name?
