JIMIN POV

"How doesit feel to be back here, six months later?"

I lifted my eyebrows, looking around in disbelief. "Looks like the same classroom, but I feel a million miles away, you know? Doesn't seem like this guy made his grand entrance here." I bounced Haneul on my knee.

He babbled and shifted his puppy plush from hand to hand, then put it in his mouth, covering it in drool.

He was a healthy, roly-poly baby now.

I kissed the top of his head, now thick with untamable black fuzz.

"Remember your BFF Professor's classroom, Haneul? Or maybe you only saw his office and the hallway."

I sat in the same row I was in when I went into labor. The interviewer was, Kim Seokjin the classy, well-put together omega from the Evening news program. He laughed a little.

"I know about popping out a baby in a weird place, with a whole audience."

"Yeah? We should start a club."

I looked around, and somehow, even though the memories were clear, it didn't seem like it was only six months ago.

"This feels like a movie. Like none of this happened to me, but I watched in on a screen somewhere."

"You do have quite the story."

"Originally SKU wanted to do a story on me, but when I asked them if they were handing out discounts on tuition, they changed their tune."

Jin huffed and out his hands on his hips. "That's just tacky. Cheap bastards."

I laughed and Haneul shrieked good-naturedly.

"Let's recap; you hid your dynamic for five years out of fear of your attacker, your Betatrix failed and made you sick the alpha you were feuding with caught your scent, fell in love, and pursued you until you were in love, too."

"He kicked Tristan's ass for me, too. He's a keeper."

"Most recently you faced down your attacker, Tristan, got married on national television, and now you've helped put him behind bars."

"Jeez. I should write a memoir or something, shouldn't I?"

Jin smiled. "You should. If you decide to make that happen, let me know. I know some people in media."

"Awesome." I liked this Seokjin guy.

"How does it feel knowing you helped put away a monster?"

"Relieved." Tension flowed out of my muscles as I thought about all that had happened the past year.

Another SKU student had come forward with allegations against Tristan that were similar to mine-except worse.

That omega dared to go to the police.

"What made you join in their fight?"

I swiped a hand down my face and held my baby tighter.

"I was scared stiff of doing what they did. I wanted to. I wanted justice, revenge, even. But I knew I'd get exactly what they got."

"The victim-blaming, lies, threats, shaming, being ostracized."

"This person had the nads to stand up, to refuse to be a victim. How could I just stand by, in my new cookie cutter life, when they were fighting for theirs?"

I paused, my voice catching in my throat. "Plus, I always thought I was the only one. I should have known better,"

I said between clenched teeth, looking away because my eyes were tearing up and I couldn't look at anyone while I spoke.
