"So you're saying we were watched!? For how long!?" Sophia whispered angrily from the small bed that she, Willow, and Sylvia were all piled onto.

Eddie huffed angrily. "I don't know, okay? I never got that far." He crossed his arms and leaned back onto the wall. Sophia sighed exaggeratedly and mimicked his movements more dramatically. "God, why do you have to be so annoying!"

"Why do you have to be so ugly?"

"Stop acting like a two-year-old."

"Don't have a good comeback I see!" Sophia retorted, effectively silencing Eddie.

Leo sighed from the corner he was seated in, still remembering the bet he and Sylvia had made. Those two would never get together. First, they started with Eddie making Sophia cry, then they made somewhat progress, but now they act like siblings, which was not benefiting Leo in any way. But he was going to try his best. . . mainly because he did not want a new haircut.

When he snapped out of his stupor, Sophia and Eddie had finally shut up and just resolved to glare at each other from different ends of the room. Willow and Bruce were discussing something in an orderly fashion while Sylvia was. . . wait. Where was Sylvia? Leo stood abruptly, and all heads snapped in his direction.

"What?" Sophia asked, still containing her sassy and annoyed tone from before.

"Where'd Sylvia go?" He demanded, somewhat concerned as he gestured around the room.

"Oh. . ." Eddie said, messing with the hem of his shirt. "I dunno."

"Wow, Eddie, you're so helpful," Sophia said with intense sarcasm lacing her words, fake clapping in a slow, dramatic way.

Eddie just looked at her with yet another annoyed face. She just smiled innocently.

Leo shook his head at their stupidity and went to leave when Bruce called out.

"I saw her leave about fifteen minutes ago. I think she said something about being tired."

Leo nodded and left out into the dark hallway, lit only by a few dim blue lights from the base of the walls. He eventually found the room that he figured was his and walked in.

He saw Sylvia sitting on her bed, smiling evilly as she held out her five-dollar bill. At first, since she didn't look up, he figured she didn't see him. That was until she spoke proudly.

"I guarantee I won't lose this, but you will lose your haircut."

"I never even agreed to that!" Leo shouted in protest, covering his hair protectively with his pillow.

"Pfft- yes, you did!" She said, rolling the bill back up and gently placing it into a small circular metal case that was hung around her neck, among many other chains and charms.

"First of all. . . no." Sylvia laughed while Leo continued. "And second off, why do you have so many chains?"

Sylvia just untangled the ones she had, all gold. "Okay, so. . ." She trailed off as she held up the charms of the first one, containing a vintage-looking Italian Horn and an intricate and equally vintage crucifix. "This one, I got on my thirteenth birthday. It's a tradition in my family." She placed that one gently down and picked up the next one. It was the only one that wasn't all gold. It contained a chain that was half black and half gold. "I just wear this one because it looks cool." Leo laughed slightly at that before she continued.

There were a few more that were just small chains until she made it to the necklace that contained her five-dollar bill. "So, as you know, I store money in here, so that's cool. . ." She trailed off as she continued searching through her mass of necklaces. This continued for a little longer before she finally finished her show and tell. Eventually, choosing to take all off except the ones with the Italian Horn and crucifix and the one she had her money in, ultimately deciding she was wearing way too many chains.
