Eddie whipped around and faced Leo, hot tears running down his flushed face. He lunged at him, pushing him up against the wall of the pod. He shoved his forearm roughly against Leo's throat. Using his other hand, he repeatedly slammed it on the button beside him, used for opening the door. It didn't work. "Leo." He said venomously. "Unlock the door, now."

Leo shook his head as tears formed in his eyes. "Eddie I can't, she's gone. There's nothing we can do, I-I'm sorry I-"
"NO!" Eddie cut him off. "You have to unlock the door! We can still save her! We-"

"And then what, huh?" Leo replied. "We sacrifice someone else and end up not escaping? What she did was for the greater good."

"THAT'S NOT TRUE! WE CAN STILL FIX THIS!" He continued pushing Leo against the wall as he struggled.
"Eddie, I'm not going to," Leo replied calmly, teeth clenched as Eddie failed to control his emotions.

Suddenly, Eddie seized his hold, the look he gave Leo was of absolute betrayal and disloyalty. He went limp and fell to the ground. There stood Sylvia behind him, holding an empty syringe. "Come on," She swallowed her tears. "Let's get him up, we gotta go."

They jumped into action, successfully putting on his space helmet, and strapping him into one of the seats. Sylvia hopped in as an acting pilot and started the launch. "Launch commencing in T-3, 2, 1" The pod made a loud banging noise before departing into the sky.

They shot into the atmosphere, Leo looking down at the shrinking ground below them, barely making out the mass of human-like creatures remaining in the camp. He felt a shiver run down his spine but thought nothing of it.

"Traversing through the atmosphere now. . ." Sylvia swerved around asteroids and meteors, using a zoom feature on her window, she managed to spot the 'Stargazer'. "There! West on the horizon," She took a dangerous swerve and barely avoided a collision.

After around ten minutes later, they were docking on the stargazer. The back door opened into the dark, empty halls. Sylvia unstrapped herself and powered off all the engines. She walked to the back door and slowly punched in the six-digit passcode: 101408. One by one, all ten remaining crew members filed out solemnly.

Sylvia made an announcement. "I want everyone to get cleaned up and then please head to your rooms, thank you." Sylvia and Leo went back into the pod, to find Eddie still out cold. "Let's bring him to his room." When they reached a part of the hall, they found Willow. Heartbroken, sobbing on the floor leaning up against a wall.

"Willow," Sylvia crouched down by her, placing a comforting hand on her shoulder, Willow unsurprisingly jerked away.

"No, leave me alone. First the love of my life, and then my best friend. Don't talk to me." Willow huddled in on herself and kept sobbing, she sensed Sylvia's presence. "LEAVE!" She shouted, tones laced with utter sadness that words couldn't describe.

Sylvia stepped back, and she and Leo resumed dragging Eddie to the engineer room. They made their way in and pulled him up onto the bed, throwing a blanket over him and silently leaving the room.

Sylvia and Leo gathered in their room, sitting across from each other after getting cleaned up. "Leo?" Sylvia asked, he turned up at her. "I think things are moving too fast, no one has any time to grieve or anything. And there are people that deserve to be grieved."
