Their skin felt so soft under your lips, you've never kissed something or someone so soft before that even after hours you lie there awake, fingers brushing your lips as you recall how you gave those kids each a kiss on their cheeks. Their skin felt squishy and warm, it was the first time you've ever kissed a child and it made you feel a sort of warmth.

"Keishi, Keita..." you muttered, saying those kids' names. But you still couldn't remember a single thing about them, not one single recollection of them in your memories.

"Why do I have to alter my memories?" You asked no one but yourself, the same question you remember asking Hawks. "Why do I have to forget?"

You rolled on your side and curled up in a ball, burying your face on the sheet as you pulled it closer to you. When you felt a headache threatening to penetrate your head again, you decided to take another tablet of aspirin and headed downstairs. You took one pill and swallowed it with water before putting the empty glass down.

You stayed in the dimly lit kitchen for a while, hands on the counter while your head was lowered down. It wasn't until the dimly lit kitchen was engulfed in refrigerator light did you realize Hawks was there.
