Jett's POV

Grey sweatpants were a bad idea. I could hear her moans from the doorway and I know Wyatt could hear them from his music room where he was playing his old records.

She sounded so sweet, she smelled decadent, like the thickest honey.

I resisted the urge to walk in the library and watch what's going on. I didn't want to overwhelm her so quickly.

Nik boasted for hours after that, she boosted his ego quite a bit. He told us how she was riding his leg and how cute her face was when it was twisted in pleasure.

I bet her blue eyes were rolled back.

The whole day we've been being lazy.

Earlier she caught me playing my guitar. She was shocked to know I could play it well and wanted me to teach her. I never would've thought she'd want to try playing it too. She sounded like nails on chalkboard, but everyone sucks when they first try something.

Today is sadly the day she goes back home. She's still asleep, but Nik told us to meet up in the office to talk about something. I assume it's about Zoey and her departure from us.

"Wyatt, put the milkshake down." Nik sighs as he walks into the room, seeing Wyatt slurping heavily on an almost empty milkshake.

The small frown on Nik's face lets me know that he doesn't want her going home. We all know she would be safer here, but it has to be her choice. If we were to try and convince her to stay, she would never agree because of Poppy.

"What if we invited her friend, Poppy, to stay with us as well?" I bring up.

Wyatt's eyes fall to Nik, waiting for his answer.

"It would ultimately be up to her. I don't think a woman would just move in with three random strangers. Besides, whether it's Jack or not, Poppy isn't a threat to them."

Zoey's small footsteps appear from down the hall.

"She's looking for us." Wyatt tells us.

Nik opens the office door. It only takes her a minute to finally find us.

"I had a very awkward encounter with one of the maids."She laughs at herself.

I hold out my arm, inviting her to sit with me.

Once she's on my lap, her head leans against my shoulder. Her hair smells like vanilla and roses, sweet and beautiful.

"We wanted to talk to you about something before you go." Nik sits back at the head of the table.

Her back straightens, giving off signs that she's nervous.

"It's okay, baby. It's nothing bad." I whisper in her ear.

My words seem to give her a little bit of comfort, but her hand still rubs against her arm.

"We would like to offer you and Poppy and place to live here." Nik spills.

Her eyebrows scrunch, "we're okay where we are. I know it's not the safest place, but it's ours."

"Just think about it, doll. The offer will stay on the table." Wyatt tells her.

She turns to look at me, as if she's questioning if this is actually happening.

"Okay." She answers.

Damn, we made her uncomfortable.
