Violet's pov
After we let go of each other another man walks up to us, I walk back to Elijah, he looks scary and he's so big you could mistake him for the hulk, like when he is big and green.
I still don't like people near me, but I kind of trust Elijah and grandma they both give me mother vibes and I've never had one so I tend to just ignore the warnings in my brain and let them near me.
Holding onto Elijah's hand still, the man comes near me but not that close and I'm grateful, he bends down on one knee because he is just so freakin tall.
"hey Bambina, I'm your father's oldest brother Gianni and this is my wife, Valentina" he says and one of the women comes up and stands next to him with a smile on her face
"hi darling, these are our sons" she says to the group of boys now standing Infront of me
"I'm the oldest, 25 and my name is Massimo" he tries to sound soft but it doesn't really work because I can tell he like never shows emotion like Alessandro.
"I'm Leonardo and I'm 24" he says with a smile, he also gives off mother vibes like Elijah
"I'm Francesco, I'm 23" he says keeping a straight face, he reminds me of Lorenzo
"Andrea, 21 and this is my twin Andrew" he says with a small smile on his face
"Gabriel, I'm 18"
"Matthew" he says it kind of rudely, so I look away from him straight away
Then another man comes forward and he looks still kind of scary but he's a little smaller than I think his name is uncle Gianni.
"hello neonata, I'm your father's second oldest brother Ricardo and this is my wife Aurora" again they both smile and aunt aurora say a quick hello before making her kids stand in front of me.
This time there isn't a whole line of them, there are only four of them and honestly two of them I think I'm going to be staying away from, one looks emotionless and the other looks kind of boring.
"I'm Matteo, I'm 26" he looks like Alessandro and Massimo like they all don't show emotion and at this point, I'm asking myself what their jobs are that force them to do that
"hey Bambina, I'm Giuseppe and I am 24" he says with tears in his eyes when I notice them I look at Alessandro with a questioning look and he just smiles and doesn't say anything, I'm guessing that he is very emotional
"Nicolo, 19" he doesn't say it rudely and I think he can kind of tell that I'm going to be getting here for a while learning everyone's names, I give and look over the last
"I'm Antonio and I am 17" he reminds me of Xavier, with the way he seems to have so much energy
After they all step away another man comes with his wife and three kids.
"I'm your uncle Federico and my wife Alice" he says with a warm smile, aunt Alice just smiles at me and doesn't say anything but she doesn't seem rude so I'm happy with it.
The first guy to step up was the guy that fell over, I try to suppress a grin when I remember what happened and by the looks of it he can tell because he smiles at me
"I'm the amazing Alonzo and these are my triplets, Amadeo and Aurelio" looking over to the other two I see the other two that fell with Alonzo and can't help the smirk that comes on my face.
They all smile at me, then Amadeo speaks almost like an afterthought
"please call me de or deo and we're 18 by the way" he says with the smile still on his face. I give a nod and they step back letting the next people come up.
"It's good to see you again Bambina, I'm your father's youngest older brother, Giovanni and this is my wife- "
"I'm your aunt Emma" she says cutting off her husband with a giant smile, I can tell she is excited, so I just give her a small chuckle and say hello
"I'm Gerardo I'm 23" again another one says with a blank face
"Romeo, 18"
"And then there's the only cool one me, Bruno, I'm 16" he says doing a weird thing with his hands
They all look big and most look scary and intimidating except the younger ones but I'm sure they will be when they're older like their brothers.
I do a quick little count of how many cousins I have and when I'm done I almost faint. I have 17 cousins, going from having no one not even really a mother and father to having 17 cousins plus aunts and uncle and grandparents is a lot.
"someone's been busy" I mumble looking down after processing how much family I now have. But apparently, I said it loud enough for everyone to hear, I just keep looking down and blushing a shade of red.
After they've stopped laughing and I'm not a tomato I look up and they are all looking at me
"By the way, if you said anything in Italian I have no idea what you said, except for baby and let me tell you it took way too long to learn it" I say and they all laugh.
I look over to grandpa hoping that what I just said confirmed that I don't know Italian but he's already looking at me, a ghost of a smile on his face but he's not actually laughing like the rest, he gives me a wink and I know that he just figured out I know Italian but I'm glad that he's letting me keep it a secret.
