15 - moving on

there it was. the sound of tsukishima sniffling once again. he quickly took him towards an alley to comfort him.

‘i still remember the last time this happened.

he looked at tsukishima burying his face into his shoulder and pat his head.

‘i was dumb to think that you'd be over it.’

kuroo sighed, “kei, it's been years. please get over him already.” he frowned, “this... really isnt fair...” he whispered into his ear.

“its not fair... to me either,” tsukishima cried once again, holding onto kuroo's shirt. “you.. also have someone you like, dont you?” his voice cracked. “i...” the grip of tsukishima's hand lightened, he had passed out on the raven haired boy's shoulder, leaving him confused.

kuroo stood there for a while, holding the blonde, then decided to take him back to his dorm.

taking the keys out of tsukishima's pocket, he had opened the front door to the dormitory. it was dark. it made sense since it was probably around 4am already.

kuroo locked the door behind him before walking into tsukishima's room.
he placed him on his bed and sat on the floor to relax for a bit since he carried his drunk ass all the way upstairs.

tsukishima suddenly turns to look at kuroo, which makes kuroo almost shit his pants. “what the fuck?!-” he whisper yelled.

“im grateful that i have someone like you in my life, kuroo.” tsukishima softly chuckled, with a small hiccup following after as he lifted his hand to pat kuroo's head.

kuroo felt his face get hotter, he buried his face near tsukishima, “fuck. im helpless around you.” he says in a muffled voice. tsukishima keeps quietly playing with kuroo's hair while having hiccups every so often.

after a while, tsukishima finally falls asleep and kuroo lifts his head. “good. you're asleep.” his face was already red at this point. “you're so different when you're drunk. you seem so honest and unguarded.” kuroo watched as the blonde hummed in his sleep. he took off his glasses and set them aside on the side table.

“goodnight, kei.”
