It's been a full week and a half since Eve and I have been living with Ares. I think Nico secretly lives here too because he's always here.
He never leaves.
It's like his home is with Ares and Rose. Not that I mind Nico being here, I mean Eve and him definitely would make a cute couple. But I still feel like Eve and my brother are something. Something about their interactions are just odd.
Today went by fast, like swoosh fast. Flash speed fast. Me and Eve spent the day in bed with our laptops typing away finishing our pin boards and journal writings so we didn't have to do them when Christmas time hit.
I did all my English Journal entries that I had last semester before I dropped out of college. Eve is still in college she wants to be a nurse. I wanted to be a vet. But it just seems like so much work, I am definitely way too lazy for all of that.
Now, at 1 in the morning, we're finally done. Ares and Nico left to go work. Wherever they work-institute dumb ass. Rose is just downstairs asleep on the couch.
I lay next to Eve and begin to yawn as I bring the covers up covering my body.
"So, what's going on between you and Ares?" Eve starts as she examines her fresh new manicure.
The burning sensation starts to hit my cheeks and I quickly put the covers over my head. I still can't believe he apologized.-not only that babes, but he asked if he could kiss you. See he's rude! He tricked me. I should've known. He is the death of me I swear!
Can you imagine if I told Eve everything that happened between us a week ago?... -secrets, secrets, secrets. Not good Isabella.
I hear the door downstairs open and then some shouting, my eyes meet Eve's and her eyebrows furrow as the shallow shouting continues but we can't make out a single thing that is going on down there.
A few seconds later everything goes quiet and I look up at Eve, she shrugs before getting off the bed and I do the same not bothering to even throw a hoodie on over my shorts and crop top.
We walk downstairs and see Nico with a busted lip and a bruised eye sitting on the couch, poor rose. They woke her up.
Woah.
"Eve, can you-" Rose stresses and Eve nods sitting beside Nico starting to fix him up.
"Gracias Hermosa" Nico smiles as he looks up at even and she shoots him a glare (Translation: thanks beautiful)
I stand there in complete shock. What the hell happened?
Rose walks up to me and her eyes are all glossy and red and i can't help myself when I pull her into me squeezing her tight with my lovely Isabella hug.
"Please don't cry" I whisper
She nods and hugs me back "can you go check on Ares?" She whispers out of the blue and my eyes widen at the sudden choice of words, woah throwing me into the lions den much?
