I place my portrait down with a smile, I'm finally done. It took me the whole class but it came out very beautiful.
I turn to Hu and see his almost done, he was missing a little bit. "You done buttercup?" I nod.
He leans over and looks at my paper then at me, he smiles. "Beautiful."
"Right! I can't believe I actually did this." He smiles and nods.
I put my name on the paper then hand it in and sit back down. I look over at the boy across from me. He was concentrated on his work. If I reached across this table I would be able to touch his fluffy ginger hair.
That's not weird right? What I just said.
He looks up at me with a bored look on his face, a blush makes its way across my face. He's caught me staring.
"Do you always stare at people?" He asks. I bite my lip nervously and look down. "N-no." I say.
"Then stop staring at me." I frown and look down.
"S-sorry." He just rolls his eyes and continues his work. I turn to Hu and see him glaring at the boy but I also notice his hands clenched up into fists.
I place my hand over his and smile at him which caused him to relax. ———— I place my backpack on my bed and walk to my bathroom and quickly take a shower.
I step out of the shower and dry myself with a towel, I grab another and wrap it around my body walking to my closet.
Tonight was the night Hu comes over for dinner. I'm nervous but excited. Hu is such a sweetheart I'm sure everyone will love him. The twins and Andres have seen him and I around school together, they should know how nice he is. Right?
My eyes scan through all the beautiful dresses in my closet until one caught my eye. It was beige with little roses plastered all over it. It was so cute! I grab it and take off my towel sliding the beautiful dress on my body.
I walk to my vanity and fix my hair. After I'm done I walk downstairs with a huge smile on my face, I was straight to the front door where the boys and Maria were standing.
"Change now." Carlos said. I frown, did he not like what I wear?
"Carlos! Deja en paz a tu hermana." Rafael says, I walk up to him and hug him.
(Carlos! leave your sister alone.)
"Gracias." He smiles back and hugs me.
(Thank you.)
I pull away from the hug once I heard someone knocking at the door, my smile brightens.
He's here!
I was rocking excitedly back and forth on my heels with my hands behind my back, smile on my face. Rafael opens the door and there stood Hu.
All the boys surround the door, he had a smile on his face but it brightens once he sees me.
Hu holds his hand out for Rafael who shakes his hand while they introduce themselves. He then walk up to me and hugs me, I wrap my arms around his neck. "Hey Hu!" He chuckles and greets me also.
I pull away from the hug and he introduces himself to Maria.
We walk to the dining room and sit down in our usual spots, me being in between the twins. This time though Hu sat in front of me. I smiled at him as he returned it.
"So Hu you want to take our daughter to the Carnival? Oh how lovely." Maria says.
"It would an amazing experience for the both of us considering we both never been to a carnival before." Hu says, while Andres bursts out laughing.
I frown and look at him. "Y-you've...never b-been...to a carnival?!" He says in between laughs.
"Yeah never been to one." Andres stops laughing a little.
"Hu and I also like to draw and paint!" I said with a smile. Maria and Diego look at me. "Is that so?" He says, I nod. ———— After dinner we all move to the living room and sit down talking. "Yeah I've moved over here with my brother to come to public school."
"Why?" Andres says and Matteo slaps him besides the head. I frown at him and he gives me a half smile.
"I wanted to spend my last two years of high school at a public school." Maria and Diego smile.
"That's lovely dear. Im so glad Aurora has such a kind friend at school." Maria says. Hu's smile widened.
"Mariposa Hu here has proved he's a great person, You may go to the carnival together." Rafael says. I jump up from the couch and run to him hugging him. "Thank you. Thank you. Thank you!" ———— Hu had left an hour ago and I went to my room to finish my English homework. I put my homework away and grab my tv remote putting on Tangled. I soon drift off to sleep.
I woke up to someone yelling, I turn around and cover myself some more. I don't want to leave bed.
"I SAID YOU CAN BORROW THEM NOT HAVE!" One of the boys yell.
I nearly fall off my bed but I keep myself steady. I clutch my blanket to my chest not wanting to go to school, but I still had to go. ————— Homecoming is this Friday and I'm very excited. I still haven't finished my mum 👍
Halloween was good. I spent last weekend with my siblings also that was exciting!
