Chapter 15

Aurora

Today was the day Xiao comes to town. I was excited really, after school Hu was going to pick her up from the airport. He'll pick me up from my house at 7, dinner would start at 8. I was nervous yet excited.

I've never met his brother and I'll be meeting him and his sister on the same day.

The bell rings and i walk all the way to lunch but forgot I have to stop by locker, I head to my locker. I opened it and put my stuff in when something fell out of my locker.

I bend down and pick up the piece of paper and read it.

Meet in janitors closet. -Z

My eyebrows furrow. Who gave me this? Surely it was a joke, I don't know anyone that starts with a Z. I crumble up the paper and throw it away. I continue my way to the lunchroom.

I walk to our table to see Hu munching on his fries, I frown.

"The one time I bring my own lunch they serve fries." Alexander laughs while Hu smirks and grabs something from beside him and places it in front of me. My smile brightens.

"You saved me some fries!" Hu laughs. "Bought buttercup.

I sit down next to him and hug him. I pull out my lunch from my backpack and set it out on the table. I grab two juice boxes out and hand one to Alexander. He looks at me with a raised brow. "What's this?"

I giggle. "It's a juice box, apple juice." He nods and opens it. I turn to Hu and hand him a piece of my turkey sandwich. He smiles and takes a half.

"And he gave us extra homework! Can't you believe that shit." Alexander says. He just told us about his science teacher. He says and I quote. "He's out to get me guys. He always targets me in class. Wait do you think he has a crush on me? He is hot." In his defense his science teacher is around his early 20s.

I giggle and nod my head. "I'm lucky I don't have him." He narrows his eyes on me.

"You do homework for fun." He says. I frown.

"Extra credit Alex." Hu comes to my rescue.

"Cut it she has better grades then you Al." Hu says. Alex places a hand to his heart and gasps.

"I have a 95 in Art actually." I smile. His work is amazing actually. Same with Hu, I love these two boys.

"That's the only subject you're good at." Alex pouts and looks at me.

"Rora tell your boyfriend to stop making rude remarks about me." I giggle and turn to Hu.

"Hu stop please." His hands go up in surrender and he stuffs more fries in his mouth. Correction he stuffs my fries in his mouth. I frown and he brings a fry up to my mouth, I smile and open my mouth, but then he puts it in his mouth. "Not fair." He laughs then kisses my head.

I walk outside with Marco by my side. "So the boys and I are actually going somewhere, Antonio is taking you home." He says. I nod and scan the parking lot for Antonio. He was leaned against a black Ferrari. It was breathtaking. A beautiful car next to a gorgeous man, I'm being blessed.

I smile and make my way to him, he notices me and opens the door for me. "Thank you!" I say which he nods to.

He gets in on the other side and starts the car.

"How was your day?" I ask. He stops at a red light and turns to me.

"It was fine. What about you?" I smile. "It was great!"

We talked all the way home.

Im glad he's talking to me I thought he'd never want to have a conversation with me, which made me sad. I'm happy he wants to talk to me.

Tonight I was meeting Xiao- My best friends sister. Should I get her something? Does she want something? I should bring her something. But what? Flowers. They're the perfect gift. I also only got Hu a present and not her, I'll need to buy her one tomorrow.

I needed to get them now so I won't rush Hu. I bite my lip nervously. I'd have to ask Antonio if he could take me to the flower shop.

"A-Antonio," He hums, I fiddle with my hands and my eyes stay glued to my hands. "Can you take me to the flower shop please.." I promise you I saw his lips twitch up.

"Of course Angel."  I blush at the nickname and turn my face to look out the window.

"Don't hide your beautiful face." He says. My cheeks burn up. I turn to him. He smiles down at me. I feel as if my heart stopped, his smile was everything. It was beautiful. He really needs to smile more it looks great on him.

"Your smile is beautiful." I say. He grins.

"Your smile is also beautiful angel." My smile brightens.

Once we get to the flower shop Antonio like always opens my door for me. I say a thank you and he smiles. We both walk in the shop side by side. He opens the door for me and I walk in.

Rosie's Flowers was what the shop was called. It was very beautiful from the outside, but the inside was even better. Flowers littered the walls and table. Many colors mixed or together. It was breathtaking.

"So who's the flowers for?" He asks. I look around at all the beautiful flowers.

"My friends sister is coming to town and I'm having dinner with them tonight. I want to give her something." I say. He raises a brow. "Hu. I'm also meeting his older brother." He nods.

"You need a ride there?" He asks, I smile and nod my head no.

"Hu is picking me up around 7." He nods. I keep walking around looking at the beautiful flowers when one caught my eyes. "Dahlia's. They're pretty, but roses are better in my opinion." Antonio says.

"You know flowers?" I ask. He grins. "I do."

He turns to me with a smile on his face. "My mother owns a flower shop," My eyes widen. "This one to be exact."

"Wow. This place is very beautiful." He nods in agreement. "Yes, very beautiful." I turn to him with a smile on my face.

"What's your favorite flower angel?" My smile slightly weakens. Ma and I loved the same flower. She always got me them every Friday or Saturday. I fell in love with them right then and there the moment ma bought me them when I was 6.

"Daisies, they're angelic and very gorgeous."

"Everything okay angel?" I nod.

"My mother always gave me them every Friday. I just I'm sorry Antonio, I just miss her." I look down and struggle to keep the tears in my eyes.

Unexpectedly Antonio wraps his arms around me and hugs me, I do the same.

"Don't be sorry. I understand that you miss her." I pull away slowly already missing being in his arms, and look up at him.

"Thank you." He nods and kisses my head which my cheeks turned bright red and butterflies swarmed in my stomach.

I chose to get her pink roses. I remember Hu telling me about how much she loves pink. I just hope she likes the roses.

I'm tired. I wanna sleep and not go to school tomorrow. I'm so drained to do anything.

"All of a sudden I felt really tired. Like the whole world has drained me for everything that I had."
