It's Monday. The day every teenager, but also Adults, hates. I on the other hand love Monday's. Why? Simply because I get to see Hu and Alexander. Xiao had left last night to go back home which was sad, but she promised she'd be back.
Hu was a little upset but today after school we're going to get ice cream together. I've asked both my parents and they said yes. The boys on the other hand don't know. Mom said it's best if they don't know, I don't know why though.
I close Antonio's door and say a quick thanks before running into school to meet up with the boys. I run to my locker and see them there, I smile and hug them both.
"Hi boys." They both smile and hug me back.
"I heard about the dinner." Alex says while pulling away from us. Hu and I still hugging.
"Mhm. It was really nice, Hu your family is lovely." I say which he smiles at then pulls away from the hug.
"Yeah but you're also amazing buttercup." I blush and look away. I look back at the boys and see Alex smirking. Hu placed his arm around my shoulder and kisses my head.
"You know half the school thinks y'all two are dating." Alex says while walking backwards to class with us. Hu still has his arm around my shoulder.
"Half the school of just you?" Hu says, Alex rolls his eyes and continues to walk backwards.
"Okay. Two other people besides me thinks y'all are together." I giggle.
"And who are these two people?" I ask. He smirks.
"Your brother Andres and a girl in our art class." My eyes widen.
"My brother thinks Hu and I are together?" I ask no one in particular. Hu laughs.
"We're just best friends, can't a guy and girl be together?," He pauses and looks down at me with a smile then back at Alex. "Hm?"
"We'll yes nothings wrong with it. It's just the way y'all are to each other." I raise an eyebrow at him.
"And how are we?" I ask.
"Ughh stop interrogating me." Alex says, I giggle and pull him to the side so he won't bump into a locker. Hu kisses my head once more as we got to my class and I walked inside and walked to my spot in the back. Alex pops his head in the class and blows me a kiss then winks at me. I laugh at his silly behavior and grab my stuff out of my backpack.
I grab my phone and place it in my back pocket and turn my attention to the board. Until Antonio sat next to me.
I've noticed that when we're at home he smiles, but at school he has this..cold look. Not around me though. The first time we met yes, and a few times after it but then he dropped the cold um act?
I turn to him with a smile on my face but it immediately drops once I see the bruises on his face, and bruised knuckles. I scoot closer to him and cup his face in my hands softly with a frown.
"W-what happened Antonio?" I ask. He gives me a half smile.
"Some assholes being assholes." He says.
"Sorry for my choice of words angel." I smile softly.
"Do they hurt?" He nods his head no.
"Nah if they do I'll make sure to tell you though." I smile. I lean over and kiss his head, he smiles at me.
"But yes let me know if it hurts, I don't want you to be in pain." He smiles at me and nods.
The teacher walks into the room and begins class. ———— I pack up my things and head to my locker to meet up with Hu and Alex. I was released from class ten minutes before because the teacher had a meeting to attend. I told the boys and they said to meet them at my locker since this is there off period.
I turn the corner but stop in my tracks once I see Alex slammed against the locker, and Hu getting punched. My eyes widen and I didn't even notice the books in my hand drop. The noise of my books dropping making the commotion stop. I had tears in my eyes and they fell down.
The scene in front of me was something I never thought I would ever see. Mateo was the one punching Hu, while one of his friends slammed Alex against the lockers. I run in between Hu and Mateo.
"W-what's happening?" I ask no one in particular. Mateo looks at me then back at Hu. Anger on his face.
"He fucking told me you were going with him after school!" Mateo tells. I push Hu behind me but he puts me behind him and glares at Mateo.
"We're just fucking going to get ice cream! What the fuck is wrong with that?!" Hu says, i cover my mouth my my hands. Hu has never been this mad before, I've never seen him like this.
"It's fucking dangerous out there! She's fucking new to this world, some shit could happen to her." Mateo says. Hu laughs.
"Why do you care all of a sudden? I took her to the carnival the other day and you didn't say this shit to me. Why now huh? Why the fuck now?!" I look at Hu with wide eyes. I was scared, but most of all scared that my brother would hit him again.
He did.
He did hit him.
I kneel down with tears streaming down my face as I hold his head on my lap. I look up at Mateo. "W-what did you do?!" I yell. Which it surprised him because I never do. I never did. Never thought I would either.
"It's fucking dangero-" I cut him off. "No. No you don't get to tell me what I can and cannot do with my life, and he's right he took me to the carnival and you never did this. So why now?!"
He looks down.
"Leave." He just looks at me. He tries to help me with Hu but I push his hand away. "I said leave Mateo."
And he did, he did leave.
I called Antonio and my two other brothers to help me. I also told them what happened, but I knew Marco had known about this. He didn't even show any emotion. As much as I hate to say this, Marco and Mateo tell each other everything. They are twins after all. ————— Nothing for today, my life is drained.
