It could have been a happy ending.

'I love you...' It was too late to say that back now. And he was so naive to think Mino will always belong to him.

Jinwoo massaged his temples. He can feel a migraine coming up. But whatever. If there'll be a pain stronger than that in his heart - anything, anything that will make him forget that pain - he'd take it. Can he just forget painlessly though?

"Hyung..."

He nodded to the younger who just came out of his room, who obviously just got off his bed, too.

"Did you eat breakfast?"

No, he didn't but he said yes. He stood up from the couch. "I'd just be over dog house in case you need me."

"Hyung."

"Hm?"

"We're good, right?"

He wanted to ask Mino what good he was talking about and how can he ask him that and why... Why a lot of things, how a lot of things... But Jinwoo did not. Instead, he lied again.

Winner were spending a Friday night casually hanging out with drinks in their hands, together with their team, like the 8-5 employees they were absolutely not.

Mino chuckled to himself when a little bit of silence passed by their table. He smirked and looked at his bandmates with a news excited to slip from his lips. "So, guys, I met someone."

Seunghoon curiously asked. "And by someone, you mean?"

Mino's eyes were sparkling and his jaw could hurt with the way he was constantly grinning. "Someone special. He's an artist too, I collaborated with him for a special project."

Blag.

All of them turned to Winner's oldest member. His drink spilled all over the table. "Ah, clumsy me. Let me have this cleaned up."

"I'll do it," their manager said before standing up.

"Then I'd have to wash my hands," Jinwoo uttered before leaving the table.

It wasn't even a minute that Jinwoo was alone in the washroom. Seunghoon went in too. "Do you want me to punch him?" He was obviously mad.

Jinwoo was hoping he was just dreaming or that he was just imagining it. He was hoping that once he returned to his friends, Mino would start looking at him with the same spark in his eyes that they had before.

Before? He dislike that word. It meant past. And in the present, Mino's sparkling eyes and grins were no longer for him.

"Just say yes, hyung, and I swear I won't hesitate to do it."

Jinwoo faced Seunghoon. "Calm down. Why would I want you to hurt someone?"

"Because that someone is fucking hurting you, hyung."

Jinwoo knew even before he entered his dongsaengs' shared dorm that it'll be empty, at least of humans. He freely walked to the living room and saw Thor chilling on the couch. When Seungyoon's baby saw him, he jumped off the couch and approached him.

Jinwoo squatted to pet Thor. "Hey. Did they leave you alone?" Then he carried him back to the couch. "I'm glad you're here. I don't want to be by myself."
