CAN'T TAKE MY EYES OFF YOU

PROLOGUE

I am watching you now. I am watching you as you are watching the sea, smiling softly at the gentle waves and the sweet breeze that's making your hair fly.

I smile too. You are such a beauty.

"Jinwoo-ya!"

You turn to me and your smile becomes brighter, wider. You stand up from the white sand and run towards me.

You hug me so tightly. You are really such a baby.

"Seunghoon-ah, what took you so long?" Yes, you are really a baby, a whining baby.

"Did I make you wait again? Sorry, baby."

You let go of me and stare at my eyes. Yours are shining as always. I think the world doesn't need stars, you eyes are enough to light it up at night. "No worries." You tiptoe and kiss my lips.

"Sweet," I mutter. "You missed me?"

You nod. "I always do."

I hug you this time. "Me too. I hope we can stay here forever."

You sigh. "You know I'm going to wait, baby. You're worth it, Seunghoon-ah. I love you so much."

I sigh too, to will myself not to cry. "What did I ever do to deserve you, Jinwoo-ya?"

"You fought for me, didn't you? Let me fight for you this time."

"I love you so much, baby. Please wait a little bit longer."

You hum. "For you, baby."

CHAPTER 1

Jinwoo was excited and happy. His show, Sweet and Decadent, received so much love so the network offered to give it a second season. Jinwoo and his co-producer accepted the offer elatedly.

The two producers were in a meeting to discuss the changes but mostly improvements for the new chapter of their show. It was a casual lunch meeting in a totally unfancy restaurant. They became close, like a mother and son, thanks to S&D.

"Should we get you a permanent co-host?" Jinwoo's co-producer, Mrs. Song, asked him, Yes, aside from being a producer, Jinwoo is also the lone host of the baking show. Due to his huge interest in baking, Jinwoo got himself a formal education and became a pastry chef. His acting hiatus did him good as he was able to do what he wants.

It has been three years since his last acting gig. He used to be one of the most sought after actor in South Korea. His fans knew the real reason why he quit, and they never cease in hoping that he would once again act in TV and in movies like before.

"What do you think, Jinwoo-ya?"

"I don't think I want a permanent co-host. I kind of wanted the show for myself only." They both chuckled. "But I don't mind to have guest hosts."

"Oh! I think that's a better idea. We can get actors." Mrs. Song nodded. "Yes, actors you've worked with so it can be like some kind of reunion. Your fans would love that. We can also guest some idols."
