Jinwoo wanted to prove to his ex-boyfriend, Lee Seunghoon that he already moved on from their relationship. The second hardest part of doing this is the "how". The hardest part is he really hasn't moved on yet.

"Why do you wanna do it?" His best friend, Mino, asked him.

"Because he's a whore."

Mino chuckled. "Haven't I not been telling you that since you started crushing on him?"

"And he assumes that I'm still head over heels for him. No way, that cheater."

"Yes way, I think it's a yes way, hyung."

Jinwoo gave his best friend a sharp look. "Did I tell you I hate you?"

Mino that time was also reading a book. It is his hobby and painting too. He's really on the geeky side. It was hard to tell that he was best friends with him. He is extroverted, a member of different organization in their university, and friends of everyone except Lee Seunghoon, take note.

"What's that book about?" Jinwoo asked as he chewed on his salad.

"It's a crime slash romance story. The detectives are pretending to be a couple to catch the culprit."

"Isn't that too cliche? Pretending to be a--wait."

That's the fateful day where the best friends started to pretend to be in a relationship to prove to Lee Seunghoon that Kim Jinwoo has moved on from him. The second hardest part was done. There was only the hardest part.

The pretend couple were in the library, Mino's favorite place. "Are you listening?" Jinwoo asked him.

Mino only hummed which aggravate Jinwoo. He took the book Mino was reading to get his full attention, "Hyung!"

"We need to plan something, Mino. We can't just tell everyone we're a couple. We have to prove we really are."

"Jinwoo hyung, can we stop? I just agreed because I know you won't stop pestering me."

Jinwoo sighed, and gave Mino his beloved book back. "I knew you're not the best candidate for this pretend relationship. Seunghoon was jealous of you before so I thought you are."

Mino is the one to sigh this time. He really can't stand a sulky Jinwoo. "Fine. Tell me what I should do."

Jinwoo grinned widely. "I really knew you love me so much."

Mino hummed, his eyes fully on the book.

"Kim Jinwoo. How are you, babe?"

"Don't call me that in front of my new boyfriend."

Jinwoo took Mino to the place where Seunghoon works as a bartender. It's also the place where he and Seunghoon met each other, fell in love, and broke up because he saw him kissing a girl in - well, that very same place too.

Seunghoon raised his eyebrow. "Is that a joke, babe? Are you trying to make me jealous? I know you can't really get over me. But I thought you could do better that-- Oh."

"Now shut up," Mino spitted oh-so-coldly after kissing Jinwoo passionately in front of his ex-boyfriend.

It made Seunghoon not only shut his mouth but also leave them alone.

"You're stupid for loving someone like him," Mino said to Jinwoo before leaving him. But then he remembered they were supposed to be a couple so he came back and fetched his stunned best friend.
