Chapter 11: Ouch!

I know it took forever but I did this on my phone so pay close attention because the POV's change a couple times in this chapter. ENJOY!

Jalisa POV

"Jalisa, try that again." My gymnastics instructor told me.

"Damn it," I mumbled as I landed on the wrong side of my foot. The shit hurt. Badly.

I was trying to do my vault but it wasn't working out. I didn't go to school today but I told my mom that I still wanted to go to gymnastics. Obviously that was a mistake because my head isn't in it at the moment and now I'm injured.

"You are late." I told my friend Sianni. "How come you're just getting here?"

"Because I was trying to get away from your little friend Kaleb." She said. I looked at her with wide eyes. "He told me to tell you to call him as soon as you get home." She started stretching.

"I guess." I replied as I poked the side of my foot. I winced when I did.

"I think you like him."

"Oh shutup, it's not even like that."

"Yet." She replied as she put the chalk on her hands to do her bars.

I was just day dreaming and my instructor saw me.

"Alright Jalisa, since it's obvious you're not in the gymnastics mood go home." He told me before he walked away.

What the fuck? I'm supposed to be here for two more hours, how am I gonna get home?

I sighed and limped to get my bag. I slid on my shorts, my A&F hoodie and one of my Nike's. I grabbed my phone as I zipped up my bag and put it on my shoulder. I dialed Rico first, hopefully he can come to my rescue.

"Aren't you supposed to be swinging on a bar right now?" He answered.

"My head's not in it, I got kicked out for today and I need a ride to my house." I told him.

"When did I become your chauffeur Ms. Daisy? I can't help you this time J, I'm busy."

"Oh my gosh, get out of Adrianna and come take me to my house!"

"It ain't even like that Jalisa and who are you talkin to like that?"

"Ricardo! My foot hurts and I need to get home, would you pleas-"

"I was serious when I said I can't pick you up Jalisa. Sorry." He hung up.

I sighed as I sat there thinking what to do next. Sianni brought me a bag of ice for my foot, I love her. I called Rayne.

"Yello?"

"Why do you answer the phone like that?"

"Excuse me child but you called me. Now what is it you need?"

"A ride home, I got kicked out of gymnastics early today and my mom can't pick me up."

"Uhhh, I am baby sitting Natalie and King right now so I can't."

"Wait, isn't Natalie Kaleb's mom?"

"Yes but she's been in pain lately and Uncle Mason told me to keep an eye on her while him and my parents went house shopping. But try KayC." I heard screaming. "Oh geez, I gotta go. Good luck JaJa. Auntie, stop that!" She yelled, hanging up.

I sighed and called KayC.

"Hey beautiful." He answered. I blushed.

"Hey sexy, can you do me a favor?"

"What it is?" He said. I laughed and explained everything to him. He agreed and I gave him the address. He was here 15 minutes later. He walked in and carried me out to his car.
