Soobin felt weird sensations come over him when he stepped into Yeonjun's villa, remembering the time when he used to visit that place often. Despite knowing about Yeonjun's feelings towards Taehyun, he had no idea that they lived together now. As Soobin remembered Yeonjun hated Taehyun's guts and would do everything in his power to stay away from him, so it was strange to find out that they were living together. He just hoped Yeonjun wouldn't be home at the moment or he'd be screwed.

He heard the sounds of sniffles and shaky breaths as soon as he stepped into the house, the noise leading him to the living room where he saw Taehyun sitting on the couch with an empty bottle and glass in front of him. His eyes looked red and puffy, face flushed and teary which was making it obvious that he was in too much distress. Soobin was certain it had something to do with Yeonjun.

"Taehyun?"

Taehyun looked up immediately, fresh tears filling his eyes at the sight of his friend as he leaped up from his seat and ran towards Soobin. Soobin didn't know what to do as Taehyun grabbed him by his shirt and hugged him tightly, letting out a loud sob before burying his head against Soobin's shoulder and breathing heavily.

"Soobin hyung."

Soobin let his arms find their way around Taehyun's waist as he held the smaller boy close, trying not to get caught off guard by his sudden hug but failing miserably. He could feel Taehyun shaking in his arms and knew whatever had happened must have been bad if he wanted him to hold him like this. Soobin had never seen Taehyun like this before.

"Shh, calm down," Soobin said in a sweet voice as he ran his fingers through the younger's hair to caress his scalp soothingly. "What happened?"

Taehyun tried answering but hiccuped instead, trying desperately to stop crying but unable to control himself anymore. He was overly emotional now that he had finally someone to confide in and the arms to hold him tightly when he was at his worst and needed support the most. So he cried heavily against Soobin's chest, trying to release all his pain through his tears.

"Let's go sit down on the couch, okay?" Soobin said softly, holding Taehyun close and walking towards the couch, guiding Taehyun with one hand and rubbing his back with another.

They sat down on the couch, Taehyun still clinging onto Soobin for dear life, not letting go of him as if he was afraid he'd leave like everyone else who left him before. Taehyun's grip tightened slightly and he hid his face further against Soobin's chest as he continued to cry into the older's shirt.

"It's going to be okay, Tae," Soobin whispered, continuing to rub circles into Taehyun's back, "Just tell me what happened and why you drank so much."

Taehyun sniffled and let out a shaky breath, swallowing a lump in his throat and lifting his head from Soobin's chest so he could look at him with his bloodshot eyes.

"Yeonjun left me alone again," Taehyun said hoarsely, wiping some of the stray tears from his cheek with his sleeve. "He probably left to sleep with someone else without giving a shit about me. We're engaged but he doesn't even care about me," he whispered with fresh tears pressuring his eyes, his own words causing him to break down once more as he buried his face into Soobin's neck who looked shocked after hearing the word 'engaged'. "I don't want to be alone," Taehyun whimpered as he tightened his grasp around Soobin's neck and pressed closer to him. "Please, don't leave me. Not you too." He begged. He didn't care if he'd regret that the following day.
